Hey guys I would like to sell my netbook for bitcoin.
If the true value of bitcoin is its ability to purchase tangible goods then why not start  here.
Please personal message me for pictures or post your offer as a reply.

I upgraded the ram to two gb. It has a 6 cell battery. running ubuntu 10.10. very good shape.
Thanks guys

So just announce the auction here and provide a link. It just seems weird that folks would prefer to kludge SMF instead of something designed for auctions like Biddingpond.com.

I'm currently the high bidder.  I was going to PM this, but I thought the request might serve as some model for doing first time business and others could make suggestions.  As I don't know you and you don't know me, maybe we could do one or more of the following . . .

1) Speak on the phone.  Better still, if I can call a listed number, or get you at work that or anything to see I'm dealing with a real person and not a throw away 7-11 phone.

2) UPS, which is the cheapest way to ship I think, has a delivery intercept feature.  You send me the tracking number, I check it and immediately send you the funds.  If I don't send the funds, you can direct UPS to send the package back to you at any point prior to delivery.

3) List on e-bay if you have an established account, and I instant buy the item  for the moment it lists.  I pay in Bitcoins and I would pay the extra few percent commission as well.

This isn't directed at you in particular.  And, in fact, any of the above doesn't guarantee anything.  Just ideas.

I'll consider a higher bid if I can get some actual pictures of the unit.

Hi thank you for the suggestions I was also thinking some actual communication would be nice. I think that all of the above ideas would be wonderful and I think that I will ship with UPS. I prefer to not use Ebay because I would just like to believe in another person (scary huh). Either way yes I will contact the buyer and try to establish telecommunication.

Also I will post pictures in 10 minutes

I willing to bet, but willing to do so only if you accept doing transaction through https://clearcoin.appspot.com/ since your account is genuinely new here. If you are ok with accepting transaction through clearcoin and ship it - let me know.
