I used the term "Token Sale" because this is the right term to used instead of ICO (Initial Coin Offering) nowadays. But the thing is , Is it really profitable to join with this scheme?
Are anyone here already took a lot of profit in there investment? Since I am only 2 month being active in the world of Cryptocurrency can someone explain to me how does joining Token Sale take a fortune in this like by joining on it.

While there might be a small window where you'd be able to profit a tiny bit from one of these ICOs, there is also an 85% chance you will lose everything you've invested.  The risk/reward with ICO investing makes it so that no sane person who is able to do math and takes the time to research this sector would possibly consider making an investment.

Frankly, yes there is, only if you were the first to join especially when the team is busy giving out lots of tokens for a discounted price. You can also take advantage on their bounty programs which gives you even more tokens than what you initially have by joining the sale. But always remember that even if you have a handful of tokens at your disposal, if the coin is not marketed well enough and no hype was built around it, there is a high possibility that once the coin goes live in exchanges, you won't make a profit. What's worse is that you may have to sell at a loss. Only choose ICOs that are well-marketed and backed up by some of the prominent devs around and I think you're golden.

Especially if that ICO you invested have bigger allocation in bounty. Bounty hunters will simply dump it quickly once its listed to an exchange.

Of course it is. People are making a living from it. But it's not easy and free of risk. You don't simply buy the first one that you see and profit tenfold.
Many of them are scams or get abandoned when the team moves on to another project. Some will scam you by promising things they can't deliver, like bitconnect and many more before it.
Follow one simple rule: do at least a couple hours of research before you put any money into a project and take a few days before you decide. Go slow, look for opinions, sleep on it, don't go all in.

Yes profit is possible but you must understand that it's not always the scenario as sometimes once a token hit exchanges, it will established a below ICO price within just a short period of time. It will now depend on long term activity if it will gained a good price since most projects are following roadmaps and that roadmaps activity are creating hypes.

Generally and normally it has risks and you have to deal with it if you really want to participate in ICO's.

I see that in most cases you can buy tokens cheaper right after tokensale end on exchanges, because a lot of bounty hunters and disappointed investors sell them for really small price. There are some more reasons to do that apart from the price. For example you won't have to pass KYC and give any personal data to devs. And the minimal contribution is also not limited.

Doing some research will not totally remove the risk but it can lessen the risk.

The aim of any sincere project team (not the numerous scam we have nowadays) is to succeed. By the virtue of this success, all their investors will be happy as they will have good returns on investment. If you can identify good project with upright team, then invest. A good profit awaits you in the short and long run.

most of ICO or "Token Sale" as you said are eventually turned scam or failed at the end
if you want to invest, do it with your free money that you won't regret losing it
some people (other than devs) managed to gain profits from quick sell (exit) when the price goes up
don't hold too long or you will have 99% chance end up losing all your fund
if you wish to hodl, do it with profit money so won't feel remorse too much when losing it later

Like with any investment, investments in tokens are a risk therefore it is crucial you do your due diligence on your investments including Token Sales and ICOs. Take a look behind the branding and marketing on the team, proof of concept, legal entities involved and also match it with your investment strategy. For example, there are plenty of shitcoins which will 10x after sale however there are other tokens where the value will be added longer down the road.

but the most important thing is that investors must choose their targets carefully, just like what they do in the stock markets.

From the URL alone, you'd be able to see that only 20% of ICOs are legitimate according to one study. Legitimate projects also have a chance to fail though, so if you read the article, it says only about 8% have gone far enough to end up on exchanges, and only about 47% of those are actually successful.

Taking these figures into consideration, this would mean that if you invest in an ICO blindly, you have about a 4% chance to actually profit lmfao. My advice is to stay away unless you absolutely believe in the vision and the team behind the project. If you come in for profit, you're going to end up getting burned.

I think there is a ton of profit to be made in terms of Token Sales. The issue is getting through all the noise to find ICOs that have a real business model, solid team and the social media capacity to raise awareness about their product.

3 years ago there was this joke in Silicon Valley that startups could add AI to anything and raise huge amounts of investment capital. Most ICO's are doing something similar - adding "decentralization" , "blockchain" or "cryptocurrency for XYZ industry" and raising money through Token Sales. 

Assuming you have done all that research, i would say real profit happens in Private / Pre-sale. The discounts can be soo massive, that you can potentially get a 4x- 5x return on your investment. The only thing is that you need to remember to sell all your tokens the second the ICO gets listed on a public exchange.... Otherwise have fun waiting for the coin value to go back up.

P.s. It sucks being in the US. We keep getting screened for KYC and not allowed to invest.
