NASA Initiates Ethereum Blockchain Technology Research for Space Communications and Navigation

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in collaboration with the research University of Akron (UA) in Ohio, USA, just commenced a new research program that will investigate practical applications of Ethereum-based blockchain technology for space communication and navigation.

Ethereum is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts. Applications are run exactly as programmed without the interference of downtime, censorship, fraud, or third-party interference. These apps run on blockchains that are custom built as a global infrastructure. The main advantage is that developers can create markets without a middleman or other risks.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Wait, Ethereum is decentralized without censorship, fraud, third-party interference or other risks  Huh

Maybe without the DAO case it could be true. But Ethereum is not immutable chain anymore, it is not governed by math rules but human greed instead. You should look at Bitcoin if you looking for decentralized blockchain without censorship, fraud, third-party interference and other risks, because Ethereum is not such.

By the way, soon really it will be possible to pay attention to bitcoin with the same purpose. I've read that soon bitcoins are planning to introduce various improvements, among which will be the opportunity to have clever contracts on the bitcoin platform, as well as now on the ethereum platform. However, it is very good that the crypto currency will already be used by NASA for the exploration of outer space. This shows how seriously they are treating crypto currency and, above all, its blockchein technology. In any case, this will add an image for the crypto currency.
