OGNasty ripped me for $700, I told him to not release any funds because I know this kids a scammer. and this is how it all went down I “RanezAbla” on BTC talk made a thread for selling my $700 worth of bitcoin. I got an offer to use specifically OGNasty as an escrow. It was wierd because the buyers email was changed recently so before we even agreed to the deal I messaged him saying don’t trust this kid he might have been hacked. Ok so I told him that, we did the whole chat thing they guy agrees to paying cashapp Venmo or square. After me telling OGNasty again to be careful and only release when I say he says there’s no way I can get scammed. Alright you seem very promising I’ll trust you. Mind you my account has been with me for about 1 year or so, so it’s all safe and my iCloud is protecting by everything possible. Well not so safe for this site which has over $100,000+ a week. So I send my BTC, right after I sent OGNasty gets off, and the kid stays on.... ok? 2 hours pass nothing? 4 hours bam at 10:03 my acc email and password was hacked/changed. Magically the kid messaged him to release which I doubt he did. And I get the most sophisticated response on my email before my info were changed... “Funds are being release to “this shitty ass low life’s” bitcoin address at RamezAbla’s request” ok great I’m spamming his bitcoin address with deposits, gave him my email before he releases money so I know I can email him to release. But magically the moment I get hacked he gets on, and right after the kid gets off my account he gets off. So to those who are out there trusting Escrows, Dont. Find an email or even better yet get into a discord with them. I did all I could to protect myself and he still took advantage of me. Even after in the deposit I told him not to send until I tell him to. Moral of the story? He’s a scum who probably has helped do this multiple time and never trust escrows on the joke of a site, scams going on everyday on this site and nobody stops it. Nah I’m keeping this here, read it now I had to check if I can post Be smart and do what the above user advised you to do, no one in the currency exchange cares about you getting scammed and what was OgNasty suppose to do when your account was hacked, that's all your fault for not protecting your accounts and you saw an email to block your account after it was allegedly hacked, why didn't you do that before he contacted OgNasty? As an escrow he fulfilled his duty to hold the btc until the person who sent the btc told him to release the funds, he can't be blamed for you getting hacked, that is all your fault, lean to use complicated passwords that can't be hacked and use different passwords for different account or you will keep getting screwed and blaming others for your stupidity. |

My passwords for all my accounts in my life have never been hacked. He did not fulfill it completely due to the fact I informed him my email and I said I would contact him. The funds weee released before my information were changed. And I attempted to lock the account. You mr -trust seem very informed on this information protecting each other’s as scammers work well. I don’t care if anyone cares about my loss, I care about the people who are about to be victims of it you hard headed swine. |

Additionally, I had an email account that was "hacked" before... But it was more-than-likely a phishing website that was cloaked by a "raffle" or giveaway. The site that got my information was a Bitcoin giveaway website, and it required registration. Although I used an email address that I had created solely for the Bitcoin world, I ignorantly used the same password for this website as the password for that email... Needless to say, the site was either compromised, or the intent of the developer was to steal registration info anyways.
I ended up losing access to the email temporarily, but luckily, I was able to restore access to the account because I was able to use the recovery email before the "hacker" was able to change it.
Unfortunately, I lost a couple hundred dollars worth of bitcoin from a micropayment wallet site that I used the same credentials for, so it was a semi-expensive lesson.
I have butt heads with @OgNasty on the forums before, but I don't think he'd go out of his way to scam you for the amount that you lost, especially considering he's done hundreds of thousands of dollars in escrow deals before you.

Are you implying that OgNasty had something to do with your BCT account being hacked? Or that he was working with the receiving party to scam you? Again, I don't think OgNasty would risk his reputation for a measly $700.  |

Have you checked the headers on the emails you received from "BitcoinTalk"? Also... Check the URLs for the links in those emails... "housebtc" was recently accused of sending phishing links via PM, so I'm wondering if the emails (or PMs) you got from "BCT" (or from housebtc) were actually "spoofed" and had phishing links in them? So, if you clicked any of them... Did you have to sign in to BCT? Basically, I'm trying to figure out how your account got hacked... and I suspect that it was due to housebtc phishing you while setting up the deal. |
