While there are some projects who would not pay you, you still have to consider the fact that some of your actions do translate to you not being paid. Here below i will list why some people do not get paid.

This is important else some bounty manager may blacklist you thinking you are one doing or just blacklist both you and the one using your details.

4. Finish the bounty program. You may have noticed that the spreadsheet of bounties you have done shows that some people took off their signature prematurely. You just have to finish it else you wont get paid. This is like following the rules.

5. When you are told not to mention bounty in the main telegram group, just stick and obey the rule.

6. If a project advises for KYC and you dont like, just dont do it.

That's because when the bounty manager or the project itself wasn't able to reach the goal of the crowdfunding, which was the initial coin offering. Not all bounties that succeeded and paid gives profit to the investors, because there were reported being scammed and those developers were hitting at trading sites. The coin value will become lesser value due to no funding will be given after the funds were scammed by the developers who managed the ico.

No doubt some are outright scams. Its appalling sha. and its disturbing to work for a month or two and not get paid. This is one reason why people should only get involved in projects that has good and reputable project managers so that they do not fall into a scam.

Wonderful and interesting points you have made here but the issue of KYC is very disheartening because not many people want to do KYC for fear of losing their privacy. Also for those who really want to do it don't get the information early. I am appealing to bounty managers to always send the information to participants emails early enough to enable them participate in the KYC exercise.

Rules vary from manager to manager. People like Yahoo do not pay you everything if you miss the post target by even one while managers like MadZ are more generous and they pay you even if you miss your post target. I feel people should lead by example of MadZ. He really cares about the participants and ensures that they get rewarded for every post they make, while this is not true for any other manager.
So, in most of the cases, if a participant cheats in the bounty campaigns, he ends up with no reward.

I haven't paid not due to the reasons mentioned in this thread but most of the bounty campaigns aren't successful just like bounty campaigns being managed by Needmoney, for me out of 20 Bounty campaigns there will be more or less 3 to 5 who are really paying bounty stakes to their bounty campaign participants.
Before I just said that bounty campaign managers is one of the better criteria on choosing good bounty campaigns but now I realize that it is not.

Since last year, more than half of my participated bounty campaigns are indeed paying but for me that's ok at least I did my best and that's why I created multiple accounts in order to join bounty campaigns as many as I could.

Yes, a fairly comprehensive lists of the reason why people don’t receive their bounty rewards.

The only other reason that I can think of is when people keep spamming the thread with reports after the bounty has ended (or when a weekly form is meant to be submitted, but they post the report instead).  Some Bounty Managers will disqualify for such behaviour, and rightly so.

You should always check the OP before you post, just in case the bounty has finished.

Joining up carelessly into bounty programs would really give you out the high chance on not getting paid or you would definitely choose those projects which would end up not on paying up either they wont hit up their min cap or just simply then do really tend to scam in the very first place which you would end up on not getting paid on all the efforts and works you have done on promoting them.
This is part of the risk as a bounty hunter, you might not putt up some money you invest but you do put your time and effort to promote them which is valuable thing.

Your first statement is it is way back a year a go because you should really obey the rules of the campaign or else you will be out but now lets say that youve join a campaign that is scam sort of they are not checking or just looking your post and not on your actual post but not all. The problem now, is the KYC. For me one of the major aspects of crypto is anonymousity and with KYC.
KYC and being anonymous just dont fit in.
And i have seen, i was a victim also. I joined a bounty campaign and in the end the manager announces a KYC process.
At this point i wasnt able to provide substantial documents for my KYC and when i check the spreadsheet someone has already claimed my bounty.
and they actually pass the KYC process.

A far bigger problem is dishonest owners that try to disqualify people from the bounty by imposing arbitrary changes. I have recently seen a bounty where they have after weeks of no information suddenly made a post in the bounty thread and demanded that everyone must do a certain task within 48 hours or they would lose their bounty. And the bounty amount is not fixed and it is variable and decided  as per the amount raised in ICOs. Fix it by creating more than 15 posts. Ideally, you should do 17-18 posts per week to avoid post or thread deletions that prevent you from meeting the rule's requirements.

5. When you are told not to mention bounty in the main telegram group, just stick and obey the rule.

6. If a project advises for KYC and you dont like, just dont do it.

I always follow rules that is why I also get paid. My only concern is that when projects have failed to deliver it's main plan and others that turns out to be a scam will surely left bounty hunters unpaid and that is sad reality here in this industry. In fairness to some legit and reliable and successful projects, sometimes faults could be in some bounty hunters wherein greediness will strike juat to get paid in almost of the bounty program fortunately for me I don't do that kind of stupidity.
