I heard bitstamp is a good way to sell my coins, but what other methods online that are trustworthy? Thank you in advanced.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

thanks for the responses i used coinbase and i didn't realize i bought a few bitcoins in the past LOL so now I have some extra cash  . |

What about the quickest way to get cash for BTC? As of a couple of weeks ago, I used Coinbase, but took advantage of me a few times so I refuse to give them my business anymore. Back on topic... I need to sell some of my BTC for cash today. I know I can post on LBC, but I'd rather sell all at once. What are my options? Also, are bank transfers safe?

If you are from Europe and do not mind giving your or some fake id I would surely go with your first mention. Minimal fees and zero risk. I would advice against localbitcoins. There are of course other exchanges, but the fees...  |

Thanks! Not sure how much trust one can have in someone they don't have a history with. I'm posting the advert on LBC now.... Are bank transfers reversible like credit cards and Paypal? I'm going to ask for deposit into my bank or bank transfer. |

I would say get someone to cash deposit it in your bank account or use MP

1st option : If you live in vancouver you can go to the bitcoin atm machine down at howe's street
2nd option : Use mtgox it is a great site and I can confirm its legit
3rd option : find a dealer on this site
