Token-Powered Platform for the Sports Industry

vSport (Sport Value Chain), founded by Sino-American Internet and Artificial Intelligence entrepreneur Qiang Bai and Dutch football star Wesley Sneijder, is an open-source platform based on the blockchain technology targeting the global sports industry. vSport’s strategic partners include 433, the world’s largest football community on social media (headquartered in the Netherlands) and Sport 8, China’s biggest youth sports platform.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will also provide vSport the opportunity to partner with World Cup licensed products manufacturer/distributor Kayford, British sporting goods brand Looks, Belgian football association, Portugal football association, several major football clubs , stars, as well as other participants in the blockchain industry.

vSport is now building a network of high traffic-communities with over 45 million fans across the world (incl. 15 million in China). In the future, vSport plans to launch its Sports Value Evaluation System and its Sports Value Exchange platform on a global scale.

The vSport platform is fueled by the vSportCoin (VSC), which can be used for transactions such as products and tickets purchases, rewards of fan engagement on social media, funding of young athletes, payments of premium memberships with clubs, players’ digital rights, etc.

Structural Problems with the Sports Industry

•   Despite its huge impact on the society, the sports industry is greatly undervalued. Many participants do not get rewarded for their contribution, which may lead to a loss of interest in the future

•   There is no tool to effectively assess the value of sports and the benefits that sports can generate

•   Resources are not properly allocated (empty stadiums, unused performance data, etc.)

•   The development of young talents is often overlooked and rewards are insufficient

•   Traditional business models are inefficient and only create limited value

•   The sports industry is overly centralized and is controlled by a few participants (federations, large clubs and organizations)

The Sport Value Chain Solution

•   vSport is building an ecosystem of decentralized applications for the sports industry. The platform hosts a community of users who are encouraged to contribute and get rewarded in vSport tokens

•   Through its Decentralized Artificial Intelligence algorithm, the vSport platform can effectively evaluate each contribution by members of the community and calculate the fair reward for the contributor

•   Based on the new token economy, this new paradigm benefits all parties:

What are the users meant to contribute the the V-sport community and and in what way? How does the v-Sport platform intend to perform the evaluation of each contribution of members of the community? How do intend to decentralize the sports industry using Blockchain technology? I was thinking in the line of having a database where upcoming sports enthusiasts can upload videos of their performances in competitions, training or freestyles so that any hiring manager or team can access the data and be able to evaluate their skills and probably hire young promising talents through the platform

At vSport we believe that there is currently no way to adequately evaluate the contribution of members of the community and we are working towards the development of an Evaluation System based on Artificial Intelligence, using multiple parameters to provide a fair evaluation of the contributions. Contributors will be directly rewarded in VSC tokens by the entities benifiting from the contributions without the intervention of a central authority.

The sports industry is very centralized, with a few institutions capturing the largest share of the benefits. We intend to redistribute the power among all participants in the industry.

Your idea of talents database is very interesting and is one of the many application scenarios that we've identified so far.
