Well, we all live in a world where anything can be believed just because they heard it somewhere else and people spread the same to other people...good thing this myth can be clarified once and for all. Anyway, the 1,700 TPS is still a big dream for Bitcoin or any other new alts we have but I am so positive that we are getting there...remember that Rome was not made in a day or just a year...it is just maybe people have a high expectation on Bitcoin when it comes to speed of transactions.

I think the most important issue here is that you do not need as many transactions per second as some people have imagined. With a much smaller number, we can see the relevance that this company has globally in a centralized system and of little access for a great part of the population.

With this new number, we can imagine that Bitcoin will be a relevant competitor among means of payment in no more than two years.
