I believe most investors are actually fooled not because they did not prepare for the worst, but just because they are foolish. It is one thing to invest in a solid project with a great team and hoping for the best, and even if the worst happens, it is an investment but at least you made some due diligence to have prevented it.

On the other hand, those who are so gullible and naive, just always end up investing as a novice that they are when it comes to investment, and either ends up not doing some proper diligence only to end up investing in scams, and sometimes even gets greedy and invested what they could not afford to lose.

That is a fact. The thing is that majority of investors do not actually have any idea about investing and all they do is to just see a flash of a project that looks good and then invest in them. Even with the quality and legitimate ones, there is no guarantee they will end up successful, but the idea is for it to be a long term investment anyway without placing too much emotions into them.

If you are capable of managing to think like an investor, your decisions when investing will determine your reaction in the long run.

the advantages of ICO are enormous if the ICO they run is fully successful, but a few new whales are losing out due to lack of accuracy in choosing ICOs that really offer benefits. new users have no basis in choosing a good ICO because of their lack of knowledge, they can not blame anyone. they must be fully prepared if what they face is a loss.

Yep altcoin and crypto itself is already very risky so why increase your risk even more? But on the other hand if you invest in an ico which manges to establish its project you can expect huge return of the money you invested

Most ICOs are generally fraudulent in my opinion. You'd be much better off investing in an establish alt coin, safer and one can still get great returns. though you could look at icos on NEO which generally tend to be of a higher quality, and have been performing well at least relative to ether icos
