Okay, so I have successfully started solo mining applecoin.  80kh/s, kinda slow I guess but a network difficulty of 351k!? does that seem right?

80 Kh/s is really slow indeed. Where are you mining with? I'm hitting the 5000 kh/s with a single HD 7950 GPU.

If that hashrate is correct, it's way too low to mine Applecoin in my opinion. Join a pool like http://apcpool.dyndns.org/. It's working great! It has 186kh/s now.

{Curently quite inactive as I'm really busy in my private life. I will get back soon!}

It's just located in my ordinary PC. Haven't overclocked it or something. I'm using the Gigabyte WF3 HD7950.

This is scrypt-jane, so 5-6.5 Mh/s are ok for non-OC 7950

try to raise intensity up to 20 (put "-I 20" in your .bat file)  Wink
so, it will look like
applecoinminer -o stratum+tcp://apcpool.dyndns.org:3333 -u *********** -p ********* --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1384720832 -I 20

BIG WINNER!

For all those that are having trouble with reduced Hashrates.

First I suggest trying to run Appleminer without ANY additional settings.

copy this to a .Bat file (change username and password)

applecoinminer -o stratum+tcp://apcpool.dyndns.org:3333 -u WORKERNAME -p PASSWORD --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1384720832 -I 15

just having the very base settings should still get you very good Hashrate.
Once you have it working there, then I suggest changing Scantime to maybe 10 seconds
and you can go through tweaking your other settings.

But the thing i noticed was, if i tried to include too many settings from other GPU miners, my Hashrate dropped heaps!
