We plan to implement a decentralized storage at Callisto Network. I was researching SWARM for long enough. I like its main idea, but it has some problems that could not be solved: for example an issue of microtransactions. There is no solution for this problem unless you have free transactions. And transactions are not free at Callisto.

Explain, please . Sad

What is not clear here? Refused from one way to solve the problem in favor of another. Or are you interested in what SWARM is?

As far as I know, SWARM is a mobile application for different platforms that allows you to share your location. "The introduction of a decentralized storage facility into the Callisto network." What will it give? "

Swarm’s broader objective is to provide infrastructure services for developers of decentralised web applications (dapps), notably: messaging, data streaming, peer to peer accounting, mutable resource updates, storage insurance, proof of custody scan and repair, payment channels and database services.

From the end user’s perspective, Swarm is not that different from the world wide web, with the exception that uploads are not hosted on a specific server. Swarm offers a peer-to-peer storage and serving solution that is DDoS-resistant, has zero-downtime, fault-tolerant and censorship-resistant as well as self-sustaining due to a built-in incentive system which uses peer-to-peer accounting and allows trading resources for payment. Swarm is designed to deeply integrate with the devp2p multiprotocol network layer of Ethereum as well as with the Ethereum blockchain for domain name resolution (using ENS), service payments and content availability insurance.

As the result, it was decided to replace the SWARM implementation with EOS model of IPFS-host-nodes.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Swarm is a distributed storage platform and content distribution service, a native base layer service of the ethereum web3 stack. The primary objective of Swarm is to provide a sufficiently decentralized and redundant store of Ethereum’s public record, in particular to store and distribute dapp code and data as well as blockchain data. From an economic point of view, it allows participants to efficiently pool their storage and bandwidth resources in order to provide these services to all participants of the network, all while being incentivised by Ethereum.

On account of Swarm, I understood, thank you. But "The introduction of a decentralized storehouse into the Callisto network." What will he give? "

Imagine that. You have information that you can not trust anyone. If you store on ordinary servers, then assume that it is publicly available. If to store in the blockchain, moreover and the ciphered, that this ideal storage.

Good explanation but how is Swarm any different than IPFS? I was always under the assumption that its impossible to store large files on a blockchain but possible to have a hash that references the file if its distributed among p2p network...

Currently, the price of Callisto Network has been too low.
And miners need higher prices to pay their electricity bills.
Consequently, I believe that CLO will climb to higher prices.

https://news.callisto.network/cold-staking-vs-masternodes-whats-the-difference/
One of the unique features of Callisto is the ability to earn interest on held funds through a process called cold staking.
Interesting article.

will grow or not it depends on many factors, including the growing or falling market of crypto currency in general. if the market flies to the bottom, then I think the callisto will fly there too))
and it does not matter, the miners are positive or negative)

I think if the market is under a once influential will surely be against the price too, because a lot of people who will buy it and now have started to ride it will be resold, could in say a sales tactics

I believe thet whole cryptocurrency market now depends on new quality projects such as Callisto. Now we're at the position (1BTC~6000$) which all market really costs and old projects cannot move it forvard. Only new projects with working products can do it by attracting more people into this crypto world.

You're right 100%! That's the way things are. Coins without attachment to the economy are no longer of interest to investors.

I think that the important point is who was the first of the proposed products will be released first to the market. Now I see high readiness development.

I joined this project. I'm interested to see how the founders implement this plan! Good luck.

Good evening . Does anyone have any predictions? What do you think, how many CLO will be in December? Will the income depend on this?

It does not matter how much the CLO will be by December.
Look at Ripple, where more coins have already been released and are in one hands a large number, and the price is 50 cents.
Therefore, for a CLO price, it is important that many people will need to store files and audit smart contracts.

Hello, will the project be able to get a listing on a large exchange? For example, there is a huge volume of trades on Binance, many traders and good instruments for trading.

Just do not explain. Google will help. But, if it's short. Not direct payments, according to a certain algorithm with a "freeze" of coins on one and creation on another.

Do you know how many such exchanges charge a fee in bitcoins for listing? I do not think that the developers of this project now have enough money for this.

Unfortunately I do not know, but I would like to know. I'm generally interested in how the listing takes place on the exchange.

I support this project and hope  it should be useful. Good design, seamless logo, able to recognize results.
