Hey guys

Just a little newbie question

I´ve noticed on coinmarketcap.com that sometimes the BTC is lower than the Dollar (USD). It doesn´t always follow that price.

I´ve bought some coins for X amount for BTC´s ... but when I want to sell that coin, the BTC value is actually lower than when I bought the coin for BUT the USD has price has grown.

So what do you guys look at when trading ?? The USD or the BTC

Thank you
I personally look at the USD value not the BTC when trading, since i first have started trading i bough my bitcoin for about a 1000$ last year, i held it up until it reached 15k cashed out spent some of that profit and i recently re bought it at 8k, i believe that most people do the same thing, unless you are planing to reinvest the amount you have in another coin.

I don't actually look at much during day trades, just at the chart and twitter for news.
This doesn't answer the question.

I'd love to ignore USD completely and focus on btc vs other coins, but unfortunately BTC-USD pair is the most commonly traded and the easiest to track progress as you're comparing a more volatile asset to a stable one. Looking at other coins or assets vs BTC forces you to have the charts of those assets open to monitor their value. You don't have to do it with USD.

I do crypto trading so i focus myself growing the numbers of btc/alts instead of USD...
With so many New investors joining the blockchain party the multi-trillion market is really possible for this crypto market..when you have x BTC right now try to multiply it til we sAw another ATHs,MOONs and LAMBOs.

I believe that in every transaction, at the present time, the biggest risk is always to observe and track the bitcoin price when trading altcoin, it can be seen that the bitcoin girl is fluctuating strongly in the You may lose a lot of money if the bitcoin price drops abruptly, which will cause altocin decrease.
