In what one senior analyst calls a struggle “to remain relevant,” Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has been burning $12 worth of its own supply every day — hoping the increased scarcity will help in its fight against its dominant competitor, Bitcoin (BTC).

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

There are many other ways in which BCash proponents are losing money. For instance, Roger Ver has spent a fortune on propaganda, and spamming the Bitcoin mempool as well for months.

Jihan Wu has also spent so much money on this, mining empty blocks and so on. All of this will only give them short term rise in price in fiat terms, long term it's not sustainable, the fundamentals are still crewed. I wouldn't be surprised that at some point BCash will raise their total supply. Everything is possible without strong fundamentals. If people actually use BCash at scale and blocks become full, only a few centralized datacenters will be deciding on the monetary policy of Bitcoin.
