Looking for a step by step procedure to safely upgrade a KNC Jupiter (november unit from the factory, not modified in any way) to the latest stable firmware.  Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

(I'm not having any issues, but have seen updates that can add a few extra GH/s to the machine. Also there's a note on the Eligius homepage to upgrade the firmware (not on eligius at the moment, but considering moving there for a pool).

Thanks in advance...

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Download the firmware file here:
https://www.kncminer.com/pages/firmware

Log into the web gui using the address of your Jupiter. (default creds are admin/admin)

Click on the Upgrade tab and select the file location on your computer.

Click on the upload button.

It will automatically reboot.
