I'm having a bit of problem here. As you all know, Cryptonight V7 is more profitable than v6 after the monero hardfork, I started trying to mine with this algo in Nicehash. But I got an error. The Nicehash Legacy was showing 0 H/s in total (GPU+CPU) & XMR showed 0 H/s in only gpu but mining with CPU.
https://imgur.com/8or1Por

so I reinstalled Nicehash Legacy. But this time the GPU can not be benchmarked. Though it had abnormal spikes in GPU usage.
https://imgur.com/STQqDgw

Then I used SRBminer-CN. It also had 0 H/s after a few minutes & the same identical spike i had when benching XMR stak in Nicehash.
https://imgur.com/AsA7xiv

Then I switched to XMR stak (non NH). But no luck. It mines, gets new jobs from pool but result accepted by pool is one or two .( I'm confused in this. Does it still mining or not. Because I don't get a penny if the result is not accepted by the pool.)
https://imgur.com/gkXt4Vj

At last I tried Claymore CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v11.3. This one mines pretty good but the total share is 0.enter image description hereSo I'm not so sure about this one that is this still mining or not..Hopes somebody can help me out.

Thank you all.

with your hashrate(300h),it will take some time to find share。i can see your xmr-stak already found a share and accetp by pool, and claymore only running for 1 mintues and no share, but the gpu tem getting higher,so everything seems fine, just keep mining

XMR-Stak, gives you better hashrate and it has better tweaking.

Thank you all.

The problem isn't the miners... it's nicehash.    I've tried reporting the problem to nicehash on thier bitcointalk page and even their facebook pages.

What's happening is that they are sending (cryptonight) instead of (cryptonightv7) on port 3363.   it's easier to see when running cryptonightv7 on CastXMR because CastXMR reports whether you receive cryptonight or cryptonightv7.

When you receive a cryptonight (i.e. prefork), port 3363 will report a rejected share.   it's looking for postfork cryptonightv7, not the prefork cryptonight.     you would have the same result if you tried to mine sha256(i.e. bitcoin) on port 3363.. well.. you'd end up with 100% rejection instead.

Nicehashes 3363 port is sending cryptonight work to users mixed in with cryptonightv7 work to users, but only accepting completed cryptonightv7, while everything that isn't crytonightv7 is rejected.

your percentage of rejects is entirely dependent upon how many cryptonight they send mixed in with the cryptonightv7.

Cryptonight code is not the same as cryptonightv7 code and vice versa... the whole point of the fork was to invalidate the current available asics.   the current available asics work on cryptonight, but not cryptonightv7.

You could always open a support ticket.  I use XMR-STAK ... Super stable.

With nicehash? Aren't you getting 3-5% rejected shares? If not may I ask what your ping is?

Yes I meant open a support ticket with NH.  No I'm not getting 3-5% rejected shares with XMR-STAK ... According to my stats I've had 2 rejected shares out of 68,906.  Ping to the pool address is 40ms.

Thanks for the info. My ping is around 100ms...perhaps the main reason of my rejects (they come right after a new block..submitted too late  Sad ).
Other than that, xmr-stak is the best option if setup properly.

But, I get almost 20% rejected share using XMR stak. but no rejected share while using Claymore. Huh

Cheesy I'm using nicehash. Tried all possible miners, either getting low hashrate poolside or lots of rejects.

Since there is no service like Nicehash that offers low payout amount, this is our only hope. Cry

It would help to know what GPU you are using.

Most likely the issue here is your system RAM.

Try first by increasing your virtual memory and trying again.

If this doesn't work then add more RAM and see if it works. Basically just take it from another rig temporarily and see if this addresses the issue.

Here is a guide for XMR STAK, if you are interested in Cast XMR, I have a couple for that miner also.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XqpsC3PKq3U

At last I tried Claymore CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v11.3. This one mines pretty good but the total share is 0.enter image description hereSo I'm not so sure about this one that is this still mining or not..Hopes somebody can help me out.

Ohh. Then which pool should I use to mine?

There are lots of pools to pick from and i wouldn't spend too much time analyzing which is the best for you as there is very little to no difference at all. Out-of-the-box, Nanopool would be one of the most historically established pools and works great to get your miner running immediately. The fact that they can help you by automatically generating a config file for your miner sold me to them instantly.

They have pools for other coins too but for Monero, check them out here: https://xmr.nanopool.org
