1. I did a graph of my received merits, and I exported it as an image.
I then pasted the generated link in the usual syntax to post images on the forum. It worked for a few hours, I even dreamt about an "always updated" image.
But after a while the link stop working and I got the bitcointalk "missing file" warning.
Is there a way to directly link a graph as an image on a post?
I’m not sure which option you used to export the image. I normally just print the screen (which places it on the clipboard) and paste into paint, saving the image there as a png file which I then upload to imgur.
Before doing the above, I make sure that all nodes are represented, by manually matching the number of nodes above the graph to the number of maximum nodes (otherwise, it won’t display all the nodes on the chart). I also often press F11 to start with, so as to maximize the image.
The graph can be included in a website, but not to an image if you don’t capture it.
2.How can use the merit dashboard to sort my post for received merits? I want to know what are my best posts! <…>
You can go to the "TX" tab, and filter the username on the right hand side of the screen by feeding your username to the “To User Name” box. Unfortunately, it is not ordering by Merit (since Date on the left hand side overrides the sort orders). Alternatively, you can use the Merit slider on the right hand of the screen to reduce the displayed posts to say 3 merits or above. That way, in your case, all the posts fit on a single screen with no scrolling.
Even so, the above is at TX level and not post level. Tomorrow I can give it a go at sorting by Post and Merits if you need it.
Edit: Just Added a Tab called "Most Merited Posts" that gets the job done quickly. Simply filter your name and you'll see all your posts ordered by merits. I need to add hyperlinks tomorrow (i.e. jump to post within Bitcointalk).
