The digital age means that there are new opportunities for thieves to do their business and they no longer require the in-person confrontation that goes along with traditional forms of theft. I can add that nowadays someone can get a lot more of your personal data by hacking into your email account than by breaking into your car and having the quite literal risk of being caught on the spot. |
