TL;DR = update me with all the latest stuff about crypto from Jan to today

So this is the thing mates, been out for months after December madness and major post-dump depression period, and need to get back in shape in crypto world after a long period of inactivity. My questions are straight and simple, please answer and help thanks:

- what are the latest important threads worth to read/follow on Bitcointalk? write down your list!

- what are the most important/most discussed topics from January to July? write down your list!

- who are the must-to-follow gurus and personalities in 2018? write down your list!

- what are your trading websites/tools? do you have any interesting crypto website to share? write down your list!

Thanks all and hope this is useful for everybody not only me
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

You're probably not getting replies as making a list of the best posts/topics takes a decent amount of time. Tongue

- what are the most important/most discussed topics from January to July? write down your list!
You might want to just check out r/Bitcoin and sort it to top posts this year instead, and check out the posts that are made in the past 6 months.

- who are the must-to-follow gurus and personalities in 2018? write down your list!
Pretty much the same people last year. Andreas Antonopoulos, Vitalik Buterin, etc. Just add ChangPeng Zhao(Binance CEO) to the list as he's definitely more active in social media this year. https://twitter.com/cz_binance

- what are your trading websites/tools? do you have any interesting crypto website to share? write down your list!
Pretty much the same tools too. CMC, TradingView. We have a trading tools section on our resources list on our site. Check it out if you're interested. https://cryptosec.info/resources/

I think the most discussed topic starting from January to present is the newly introduced Merit System.

People are racking their brains to improve the said system, while others are thinking of ways to earn merits.
