In regards to community concerns of the blockchain of choice and energy consumption by POW Zero Carbon CEO Derek Myers informed:

"We are confident ethereum will transition away from energy-intensive Proof Of Work to Proof of Stake as per their 2 year roadmap. It's a detailed and exciting transition with many innovative new features. In the meantime we will purchase and surrender carbon permits to more than offset the expected carbon emissions from Proof of Work."

Interesting question regarding the environmental impact of the usage of an energy 'inefficient' POW blockchain like Ethereum.....

Hm, for me it's just a speculation. POW is being used by the most leading blockchains, and their teams consider different solutions to improve it. But Ethereum is backed by hundreds of teams and devs all over the world and has a shot at solving this first. Anyway ZC addresses different problems and its token is just an engine to fuel the processes. Eth is a wise choice of a huge potencial.

Global warming is unstoppable. As well as deforestation of tropical forests (they have been irreversibly destroyed) and much more. People like to ruin everything.

Global warming is unstoppable. As well as deforestation of tropical forests (they have been irreversibly destroyed) and much more. People like to ruin everything.

While I don't agree with that statement there are some scientists that do so I accept the possibility but I still think that we can affect those situations in a positive way and not let them just happen
