Hi All!

Just curious if any of you decided to spend some bitcoins while the price was skyrocketing?  Don't include saying you sold bitcoins.  I spent ~2.5 bitcoins on gift cards so I could buy presents.  Would have been nice to 'time' the market to get some higher value on the bitcoins but I'm still happy.  My first bitcoin purchase as well!.

Leave any thoughts as I'd like to hear what everyone elses experience is.  Thanks!

Yes, I buyed new phone with BTC. I was planning to buy with USD, but I changed my mind because the USD/BTC was very nice for spending BTC instead

Nah, never spend a cent on bitcoins

that kind of thinking doesn't help BTC grow though.

However I did spend 2.5BTC when it was $140. That was a few days before the big price rise. I was so pissed of at myself but hey, it happens right?

that's the urge i keep fighting. i spent about .48 BTC at $250. but i can't really hold onto the missed opportunities, because what good does it for me?

Exactly. It can always go both ways. I would've been happy if the price dropped after I bought right?

yeah, but i tend to forget before reminding myself. sometimes i think "GOD DAMNIT, I SHOULD HAVE DROPPED EVERYTHING I HAD INTO IT A YEAR AGO." but there's just no point dwelling in the past. i'm grateful to have purchased them at the price i did.

I was away for 3 days, the spike started when I left and I was without internet access for 3 days, hence I only found out about the ridiculous spike to $800 today. All my coins were in my wallet as I was away though, so I didn't spend anything.

While the price was High I bought some gifts for family from bitcoinstore.com . A few computer parts and that's about it... not bad for just 1.5 bitcoins.

If you think my efforts are worth something; I'll keep on keeping on.

Those who spend at 700 can now rebuy cheaper. Spending is not bad, you never know when correction come and you can rebuy cheaper
