I agree. But it's a service. Meaning, a business. Some handle their customers well, some don't...
I think that is not sustainable for the people who use the monero.
If you just read a bit this forum you'll see how many advise to use local wallet. The story is the same for Bitcoin, Monero or any other coin.
You used a service. You didn't even say which service did you use, so I can't tell anything about it.
I use a local wallet and never had issues.
