MEW can be used temporarily but not for everlasting long, hardware wallet seems to be the best, its easy for those in Europe, Asia and north and south America to get a hardware wallet, but those in Africa lament the difficulty in getting one.

personally I use it so far. but I prefer to store the amount directly in the Exchanger because at this time the amount is not so large, it will be unprofitable. you need attachments to work with MEW successfully

you should never use an exchange as your wallet unless you are prepared to lose everything.

that's like crypto 101

Im still using it, and will always use it.. MEW is the best wallet for ERC20, you just have to stored your private key properly. Do not get phised, do not store the key where it can get hacked. Write it down on a paper, copy it and keep it on your wallet or closet.

yes of course. there is nothing which speaks against MEW. runs reliably and if one is careful also
without problems. 100% guarantee is never given but MEW is certainly not bad  Smiley

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.
I still use it because of MEW because most of the bounty campaigns always require the wallet MEW to receive the token. I'm not afraid of hackers because the money on my wallet is very small. so they will never steal mine.
I often transfer all my money earned to cash to cover the cost of living. Also I invested in ICO projects and after receiving the token I sold them immediately. Cheesy

MEW was one of the first wallets that was universally recognized among many ICOs. But in our time, a purse for storing digital tokens should not have a heaped up functional, as this can scare off users. so now they prefer simpler wallets.

I still use MEW but have not tried recently to withdraw coins from MEW because of the issue of hacking but I am trying to venture probably of transferring it to a hardware wallet to be very safe and secure of these hackers!!!

So on this wallet there were many problems, but as for me, he was most comfortable in using to store his tokens and therefore I left all my tokens there

Yes, I still use Myetherwallet because hardware wallet is very important to us to avoid scammers. For me, MyEtherWallet is more reliable and secure.

Yeah, I still use mew. So far, I am fine in exploiting the facilities from mew. Indeed, some news is discussing the robbery of crypto currency from this mew. In fact wherever we keep our crypto currency assets, all wallet have the potential to be robbed. But, we can protect it by doing security against our digital wallet. Before anything bad happens, then you should improve the security of your wallet. You can read threads that discuss tips on securing mew wallets in this forum. I have also given tips in the thread. Don’t forget, make sure that only you who control your wallet.

wallet hardware is better than online wallet, some online wallet does offer some good security, but the security can not be fully accounted for, because some time has proven that online wallet has been hit by hack

The problem with the recent hack was not really with mew but they were being dns hacked, there servers got hacked and website got redirected to a phishing website. All alts remain on blockchain and not on mew so unless your pvt keys are exploited, you are safe. Use hardware wallet to be 100% safe when using mew or any other browser based wallet.

Yes is still us MEW, ITS still one of the best wallets there is  in the crypto platform especially when storing ETH and ERC20  tokens, the speed at which these coins are reflected into the wallet is just impressive as there is little or no delays when it comes to such transactions,if encrypted well and all the security protocals looked into, MEW IS just as safe and will safely keep your tokens away from the hackers
