Still a bit surprised that the media don't want to touch this story. So many millions have been stolen.

I can understand the rejection from coindesk... as they were promoting inputs (possibly paid) and don't want to look foolish.

But despite my efforts no one wants to touch it.

Maybe they will be interested in a "where are they now" story if bitcoin hits 100k in the future!

Better this way. I was torturing myself, staring at those numbers and wallowing in my loss.

I prefer to move on, and consider my precious 17 Bitcoins as tuition - paid to TF for the lesson he taught me. It's just unfortunate this one lesson cost me more than my undergraduate degree  Sad

Has anyone had any luck at all getting in touch with gaston909 ?

I've messaged him (twice) with a question and some info on my missing CL balance but he never got in touch. TF of course after quite a few emails never bothered replying either. I now see someone is asking for "authorisation letters" to be signed from us for an investigation in China.

I'm worried this will lead nowhere? :-/

Hi again All,

I presume nothing's happening about this and everyone has given up? What's that about the new "v2" message on coinlenders.com ?? It's not "per user" as the message is the same whether you access it from a browser that had your logged in session, or not.

Anyway, I had 16.9BTC in coinlenders and an inputs.io account (with no funds). Any chance at all for light at the end of the tunnel???

Thanks for still keeping track of this gaston909. As you may have noticed, coinlenders.com is completely off-line now. How should we proceed?

Hi all - GASTON909 here (The real one) As you will notice, if you look at my post history, (Not been here since 2014) my gaston909 account has been hacked. - If you have any suggestions for closing it or recovering it before that account is used to scam someone I would be happy to hear it.

Anyway, Just an update for those who weren't in the email thread. It pains me to say that TF got away scott free (Apart from the damage it will inevitably cause to his psychological state knowing he stole an incredible amount of money from many people, some of which were sick or had sick family and depended on those funds- infact from what I have heard from the victims, this guy is indirectly responsible for more than one death, sad I know)

ANYWAY, I wont get myself started on this cretin.

Despite my absolute best efforts, including teaming up with a "bounty hunter" and travelling all the way to Australia, and China. I have finally accepted defeat.

I largely funded my TF hunting efforts myself (Although did receive around 0.2BTC from some generous users, thanks.)
and finally exhausted my last energy on this hunt.

Anyway, I still have access to the original "TF Justice fund" address i posted years back (still at 0 balance  Tongue) 1PHm27ZcX2vssPKCvf5Xfr7v7aDgehrqfR so I can prove I am me if it will help close that old account down.

Thanks for all those who supported the hunt, mainly emotionally as it was a bit exhausting and congratulations to anyone involved in this who saw even a penny returned. (I know a few sporadic users were lucky enough to get full refunds 200+BTC) I was one of the unlucky folk with a 100+loss, sure looks like a lot of money today, but lets not dwell. I managed to buy a few of the coins back and returned as much as I could to people who I owed. The others have accepted the loss since the price has gone up as I they know I cant possibly rebuy what is lost.

Hope everyone is doing well and moved on to other things.

P.S. Was looking at bitconnect the other day, and I thought.... MEGACOINLENDERS.IO!!!!!!  Grin Grin

Peace.
