I'll likely repost this in the cgminer thread, but I can't seem to get cgminer to work with my mobility radeon.

It starts up, and then just sits there black. Log shows issues with connecting, I believe, but I have no issues running reaper miner (although its a stratum server so I have to use a local proxy to connect). Any help would be appreciated.

i wouldnt mine on a laptop. risk/reward is not worth it imo. laptop will blow.  Smiley  that's just me though. your mileage may vary....

Gaming laptop (many large fans), low intensity (10; doesn't even fully activate the fans), powered at work (no cost to run).

It's literally pennies worth, but hey, free money right?
