But, while many are happy with the eth's continuously pumping and traders are happy to see the market's optimistic view, I am still here waiting for the Eth to drops heavily like at least $30. So, I can buy some and will experience the fruits of eth's benefits as well.  Is it possible now, to reached down it's value like that? Like hello? I've been waiting for a couple of months. Lol

In my opinion that impossible, because in down trend popular crypto price usually only possible going down maximum 80%, more over ETH has strong fundamental and big community who support it. That target price too low and not possible, you have to learn more technical analysis to predict support area of ETH. I guess, you're right.  Maybe it is impossible now to reach that as my target is extremely low. How silly am I to think that history repeats itself. With regulation and the imminent decrease of supply there is only one way for eth to go and that is up. If you badly need to make money perhaps invest in other potential platform coins. It might be a long wait for Ethereum to reach $30

Eth has established its market right now, and it has good community and support especially in most new ICO’s. Your set target is way out of the reality. Maybe your target is 300$ instead of 30$? Because the price correction of ETH if im not mistaken it is around 350$+ something like that, so if ETH breaks that price correction “maybe” it will hit your target. I think the price you expect is fairly unrealistic,and time when ETH is worth only 30$ is far behind us.You may have noticed that when BTC price is going down usually drag all coins in that direction,so to have 30$ per ETH price of 1 BTC should be very low.Possibility for such a thing always exists,but I think it is less than 5%-although some big negative event like MtGox in past would crush the whole crypto market and maybe then you could buy some cheap coins.

I have another advice for you,try to find some other cheap coin which you think to have the potential to be successful,and invest some money in that project.

I think you over low the price that you want to buy etherium, at the currency price of etherium it looks like imposible to happen the etherium will goes down again to that price. I dont think this is how you should be trading.  in my opinion, Ether will never hit $30 again unless there is something fundamentally wrong with the technology that renders it useless which in that case you wouldnt wanna buy it at any price.  What you should do, is you should accept the current prices and trade based off of them.  For example, if a big crash happens you can use that as an opportunity to buy.

As ETH already been well developed and its platform already have a lots of usage, I think as well that falling to that level is not possible anymore, and just like what mate has said, only reason for that to happen is if there's really a system problem that will lead the to any collapse, or also if ever that an hacker penetrate the whole community and dumped everything, better to understand more about the system so you will be able to support ETH even you already seen that the value is already to this level.

calm down. it is NOT possible at all! Ethereum is used everywhere, the market capitalization of the coin is constantly growing, and it seems that many supporters of the platform believe that ETH will cost soon 2-3K.

If ETH was fundamentally broken no one would care and they'd carry on pumping even before it was repaired. Coins which don't function in any way at all still pump on exchanges. ETH will be proven to be a truly unworkable idea in the end. It'll still pump on the basis of a future that will never arrive. No one's in it for anything other than more money.

So to answer OP's question, it may well deserve to be that low or zero, but collective crypto madness won't permit it.

Every think or all things are possible but I thinks for the main time ethereum is not going below $3,000. We are having a very good times especially those that invested in the last dump. I also don’t think that we will ever see Ethereum decreasing to such a value ever. Such good days are gone now. However, there will be many dips in future from time to time but expecting such a high fall is just fooling oneself around. There is one more reason and that is bitcoin. I think that would be too harsh of a fall if that happens to Ethereum considering that it is one of those coins that has reached about a thousand grand before. I have come to accept that, in this market, everything and anything is possible. I say that because it's not so easy to see that there are so many movements and happenings surfacing and resurfacing in this market at any given point, so I think that as more and more of these trends and changes go forth, there might be those extremely negative things that could actually make one coin disappear or fall down in value like that. You are like saying that bitcoin will go to $1K level which will be painful to see. But it is possible? of course everything is possible in this volatile market. How many people says that bitcoin will not go below $10K and yet after the big pump, the market crashes and up to know we have been struggling to even get to it.

I don’t see your rationale of your desire that ETH would become $30 apiece. Granting that it happen then what would be your assurance that it will return to high position. Most commonly happen from this kind of scenario is the coins never got back to high price because something bad happen to the crypto. Take example of Bitconnect from as high as $400 it when down to $0.71. There are no guarantees that your desire will happen. My advice to you is instead of waiting the coin to crash study harder on technical analysis and start trading seriously.

I think eth price will not reach on that level. 30$ is too much for a popular token, maybe 150$ is last price if it will go down. But hoping that eth will hit back on normal price like back then.

Let's not panic! It is possible, but only theoretically. A drop of Ethereum's price to $100 would probably block the network, because most miners simply turned off, or switch mining rigs. This would make the price immediately increase extremely quickly. I can not imagine a rapid drop in the price to $40 - that would be the end of Ethereum, and this is practically impossible.

People thought 1000 tokens all utility, would cause demand for Ether for Dapp transactions. But as you point out,,, they just caused dumping.

- In 2017 there were $6.3 billion raised in ICOs
- Over 95% used ETH as their main fundraising token
- Lock-up periods ranged from 6 months to 2 years > unlocking now > billions dumped now
- Companies have to sell their ETH to use their funds (my salary alone costs 25 ETH a month)
- Updates keep getting delayed, not impressed with devs

I think it is very likely to go down $ 30. Because Vitalik Buterin does not hold any ETH and I do not understand his operation. That means that ETH is not owned by him, it is owned by manipulative organizations. So I think it just goes down temporarily. Whales will know how to balance the market.
