How do I set mining threads I just run the node with mining=1 ?

correct or with localhost api: http://localhost:27113/swagger (unless you changed port)

However, I neglected to mention that last PoW block is 1,000. We were 300 when I posted. We are almost to 2,000 already!

Nice opinion, guess you get free electricity. For the rest of the world, we all know staking (even if means buying the coins) is much cheaper than mining costs.
