It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

There are no conditions but if you are talking about the things that you need when buying and in able to keep nep5 tokens which are neo based.
You are going to need neon wallet. There is no transaction fee on NEO protocol. You can send nep 5 tokens for free between neon wallets. But there are fees on exchanges because exchanges are businesses , they will get commissions of course. I recommend kucoin when buying nep 5 tokens because that is the only exchange that i know does not required any fees when you withdraw NEO. I don't think about nep5 tokens if there is fees on  withdrawing that on kucoin. I bought some dbc few months ago but i forgot if i have paid withdrawal fees for that.

Hello KingScorpio,

The altcoins you are referring to are tokens built on top of the Neo network called NEP-5 tokens. Some examples of these tokens are: Ontology, DeepBrain Chain, Red Pulse and Alphacat. To make use of these NEP-5 tokens you should have a wallet which supports these tokens, a list of the wallets that support NEP-5 tokens can be found here.

Currently there are no transaction fees on the NEO network, however in the future the NEO network will use GAS to charge transaction fees. You can find a quick video here explaining the basics of GAS and NEO. If the platform is secure and reliable you should decide for yourself, we suggest you do some research and make your own decision on this point.
