I don't see it as a threat to Bitcoin whatsoever, in terms of a single unit of each I don't think the price of Ethereum will ever come close to that of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is now seen as a store of value whereas Ethereum is mostly seen as the currency for ICO or a platform for ERC-20 coins to launch from.

My opinion is that the Etherium will never surpass the bitcoin.
Any system needs a leader to keep the whole system in certain interrelations, especially to such a system as a cryptosystem. Bitcoin will be the first even if it is weaker than others.

Ethereum is a threat to bitcoin? Yes it is. We all know that ethereum was created by a russian programmer on 2013, and it was launched on 2015. After 3 years it is next to bitcoin in terms of popularity and value.

Let me show you some NBA perspective on this, bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency right? same as LeBron as the king of NBA. But here comes ethereum the prince of cryptocurrency just like Ben Simmons as the prince of the NBA. The prince will dethrone the king on the eastern conference finals same as ethereum that will dethrone bitcoin in the next couple of years. Wether we like it or not the king will reach its limit. Mark my word. Trust the ethereum process!
Terrible analogy, humans beings get old and their abilities decrease with time, while technology also become obsolete, most cryptocurrencies are using the concept of the blockchain created by satoshi nakamoto and the network is only getting better and better without any real competition in sight, yes ethereum is not a competitor for bitcoin and yet ethereum does in fact new competitors that are menacing taking away its spot in the future.

I always thought it was a threat. But in the recent times, it's really starting to lose too much value. It's almost 5 times down. I do not think that there are so many places in the country that it deserves, even though it forms the infrastructure of the project.

I don't think so. I don't think that ethereum is a threat to bitcoin because they are both good but different characteristics . And both are top coins.

To be honest, it is hard to believe. I think bitcoin will not overthrow anything. My opinion is that this cryptocurrency will constantly grow and well, the ether will remain in second place. I think in the future we will learn about it.

In my opinion, the broadcast certainly threatens with a crook, as this cuff very quickly raises its speed, popularity, demand, and much more, the etherium in my opinion will soon become a first-class coin, this is the forecast for 2019, but that's my opinion, without any analyzes

I firstly believe that at first but when I see the bitcoin dominance to other alternative coins, I can say that Ethereum is too far to bitcoin and still investors chosen bitcoin to ethereum since its growth and potential is big.

Btc is in the uusual part of its cycle and Eth is so  stagnant now, from this fact I can say that Eth couldn't be a threat to Btc at all, Btc is in the front of.

Now not eth is now falling extremely easily hit near the $ 200 mark. In the next few days, prices will continue to fall below $ 100 so that coin can collapse without any edge. The BTC is still the king and a good coin holder in the cryptographic market

Nothing can be a threat to BTC. Anything may happen, but no one can take over the king's place. ETH has strong potential to be great in future but it is impossible to over take Bitcoin.

I honestly don't think Ethereum is a threat, they're too different and I wouldn't even consider them competitors as they both have very different uses.

They can both quite happily co-exist in their respective markets.

Well, I will say not yet, maybe when the market improves. Eth is no and still far to be a match to btc, it has a real chance of growing and causing upsets to other altcoins but at least for now not to the btc. Ethereum will only get better though but with all due respect I don't see it causing any threat to bitcoin just yet.

There couldn't be any threats to Btc because it is the only one foundation of the whole cryptocurrency market and nothing can beat it at all here.

The price of eth is very low recently but i think eth is still great. Anyway. Ethereum and bitcoin are different, so eth is not a threat to bitcoin for me.

Both BTC and ETH are favorite but ETH will never touch BTC.
