Dear friends,

I have Trons (trx) on Exodus wallet. Now after the main-net  tron will no longer be a ERC20 tokens.  So what will happen to my coins on Exodus wallet?

Do I have to move them some where?  Thanks in advance  Smiley

This is the reply I got from exodus team:

"Thank you for writing in today in regards to the TRX protocol upgrade!

Currently, we do not plan to support the Tron (TRX) main-net in Exodus. Since the Tron team isn't revealing much information about how the swap will take place, it seems sending your TRX to an exchange like Binance is the only option. It's not ideal and I wish that there was more information available as I personally do not believe in storing assets on an exchange for holding.

Any one has any preferred suggestion? It's a shame that I recently transferred my coins from an exchange to Exodus. Now seems like, I will have transfer them back to exchange??

Is there any other option? Thanks

There will be a solution to swap ERC20 tokens to official Tron wallet and Ledger will support new tokens as well. Read here additional comments https://www.reddit.com/r/Tronix/comments/7li3mf/transferring_to_mainnet/?st=JBI49H57&sh=91b6f22a

I just transferred my trx tokens back to Binance and i'll just leave them there until the swap is finished. But hopefully they will have an official tron wallet soon because atm i don't trust in the security practices of exchanges.

TRX promises to make his wallet, but while there is no information on this. And I would not advise you to keep it on the stock exchange for a long time.

I think you can just transfer the token to the exchange, and the exchange will do it for you,Because most of the time the main network conversion of these tokens is quite troublesome.

Well damn ... I also found some Tron that was airdropped into Exodus and I'm just learning about the mainnet exchange now.  Looks like the date to get Tron ERC20 tokens to an exchange has passed.  Bittrex won't take it.  In the future Tron will launch a "permanent exchange counter" where you can manually do the exchange yourself.  That should work for those of us that missed the deadline.

So you can look for sites that still support ERC20 recharge, and they'll automatically convert you to the TRON home network token.
Remember to observe carefully if the ERC20 is a token.

Exodus is very good wallet. It is pitty that TRON is not supported it I was searching for some good multicrypto wallets and Exodus suits me nicely. Having hundreds wallets for different coins is a bit annoying.

TRON launched as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum blockchain. Now it has moved to its own mainnet from June 2019. So you should have a new wallet compatible with the TRON mainnet to store TRX coins and must thoroughly understand what wallet accepts TRX.

The top TRON wallets which will help to secure your TRX coins are- TRON Android Wallet(TRON Mobile Wallet), TRON Web Wallet, TRON Chrome Extension Wallet and TRON iOS Wallet(TRON Mobile Wallet).

Let's take a look at the updated and latest Tron wallets comparison in 2019.

Thanks buddy, I have not been able to find information about wallets for a long time, there are more than 20 of them on the official website and I am completely confused. Thanks for the link.
