I wonder, how low we will go today... It's 0.000036 even on DGEX...

That is really-really ugly.
I am managing Nxt investments from 3 friends. It was their first crypto-investment. They got in at 0.00006. All 3 called me today already what to do now and if we should sell.. I told the mnot to panic. I hope I will be right...

You can´t add buying orders because of the shitty 30% rule on dgex... haha

I think we're at the place Bitcoin was very early, when nobody believed it will ever cost more than a few bucks. Myself included Sad

The price will probably skyrocket, but not for a few months... Or even more. Now is a good time to invest only if you're patient enough.
But looking at Bitcoin the rewards can be really huge!

If I owned a lot of bitcoins I would buy NXTs and sold them much cheaper just to create panic... This is what we see now.

Can't be sure about that, dgex would have to confirm if all sells are from a few accounts.

If anyone else just noticed....there has been a huge sell off for most cryptos according to coinmarketcap.

This time yesterday BitCoin was nearing the $1000 and has dropped down to $900 same is seen with many other cryptos.

Personally I don't mind the drop for Nxt. More to buy cheaper Tongue

As I've said before:  Don't Panic !

If the price drops, buy more, and tell yr friends to do the same.

Unless u are a founder, there really is no good time to buy into a crypto. There will nearly always be a lower buy-in price or a higher sell price somewhere down the line.

These are still very early days for NXT, so a lot of market up and down is going to happen. Dont sweat it.

(Just for a laugh: I helped a friend of mine buy into BTC at the top of the last peak, precisely before the China news broke and BTC dropped 50%. He wasn't happy then, but he's a lot more cheerful about it now.)

Funny thing is, Bitcoin stills goes through these times of loss of faith and then gaining faith back. See what happened in December, 50% setback. And that's after 5 years of existance. All goes in cycles, human psychology is always the same. That's why only 1-5% of traders gain anything, others lose.

Damn Federal Reserve started its attack on cryptocurrencies! Where's my tinfoil hat? Smiley

Seriously though, what could that be?

That was different, that was classical bubble burst with surprising support.

5) Are there api's already for asset exchange? If so, would it not be easy to make a simple HTML client? (I would be willing to make this ad interim if nexern's client is still months away)

API is ready. To make an HTML client we need JS library for signing/verification (look at that bounty).

Problem is no known javascript library exists that implements curve5xx verification. Only signing. To make that from scratch is out of my league ;-)

Curve25519 is not enough. We need JS-implementation of EC-KCDSA based on Curve25519...

I can port the Java code to JS, but can we open another thread for this bounty? I don't want to work on it if someone else already is, and it's hard to dig through this thread for progress on the bounty.

That was different, that was classical bubble burst with surprising support.

There are always different reasons to cause the initial panic, but what I am talking about is when the panic has already started, people are guided by emotions and sell low, even though fundamentals are all the same, nothing changed. That's why only 1-5% of traders make any gains, 95-99% lose, and that's exactly why no matter how even the distribution is, because only a small number of people are guided by common sense when making trading decisions, soon enough top wealth will be concentrated in the hands of the minority. It's just the way things work in this world.
