I don't like such the answer coz it looks like bragging. Let's wait for release of AT and then we'll see.

Fair enough - it wasn't intended as *bragging* but let's just see how it *plays out*.

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

I can only guess that he knows something that we don't know.

I seriously doubt that - I have had *many more years* experience than he has as a "software engineer" (and was initially invited to *join* Ethereum by Charles).

i like ciyams answer than cfbs lol

I don't like such the answer coz it looks like bragging. Let's wait for release of AT and then we'll see.

that's correct but at a certain point we have to jump into the cold water and reply self-confident what nxt already have
without crossing the border to bragging. just facts, nothing more, nothing less.

as mentioned before, i am following the ethereum dev closely and i can confirm they are also cooking with water like
anybody else. there is no reason to hide.

These 8 Coins will be at top of my coin compare matrix(CCM):

Bitcoin(BTC)   Litecoin(LTC)   Ethereum   Peercoin(PPC)   Mastercoin(MSC)   Nxt(NXT)   Counterparty (XCP)   Bitshares(PTS)

good?

delete Litecoin

Delete bitcoin, litecoin and peercoin....Only the 2.0 like coins should be compared

No no, leave Bitcoin on the list. So the comparison will be more striking.

btc and ltc should be in, to point out the diff from 1.0 to 2.0. i also think peercoin could be deleted.

In the video, he states "good luck [to NXT]" when I asked what prevented NXT from also developing a scripting language.

What does this mean?

I can only guess that he knows something that we don't know. Maybe some hidden obstacles that r very hard to avoid. I bet Vitalik spent much more time mulling the idea of Turing-complete scripting language hosted on a blockchain than anyone else, so I tend to think that we overlooked something and will face serious problems in the future.

very nice video Tai Zen, was fun to watch it. of course he is aware of nxt. moreover he is also aware about the time-advantage nxt have.
this is critical to ethereum. if you look closer to what vitalik said, you find out that nxt has already everything ethereum plans.
the functional differences for the scripting language is very minor in results but huge if you consider the now, real existing featureset
compared to ethereums roadmap.

(one reason why i recommended a feature matrix today, to make exactly this visible)

edit: instead ranting here about a completely normal price oszillation, during a general crypto downtrend. we better concentrate to transfer the
existing featureset message.

The time advantage of the Nxt "Starfish" is huge....as long as we don't stumble it would be very difficult to catch us....we just gotta be humble and look ahead for "Pot holes".

....and also keep up to date on any advances Ethereum makes.

Resistance to the Nxt "Collective" is futile.

Maybe Vitalik looked through the Nxt code and found the killswitch you talk about. If we ever start to look like a serious threat to Etherium, he will nuke our blockchain.

If you can build something superior and 3.0 to nxt then your time machine should help you edit the list anytime Wink

Yeah the contrast seems very important especially to newbies, but I see no reason why litecoin should be included.

Edit: Delete litecoin and peercoin....Only the 2.0 like coins should be compared..cfb can travel back in time to add qubic

I doubt, more likely that he doesn't take Nxt seriously.

He doesn't. You can see it on his face (on Tai Zen's videos)

Hi CfB, ETA?

Hi. ~2015, coz I have to solve the problem of a medium. Internet can't be used for that coz it can be easily switched off. Wi-Fi Direct looks like a good candidate but broad/multicasting issue is not solved there yet.
