The gentleman at bitcoinprbuzz is ready, willing and able to give nxt the buzz in needs in the outlets: Yahoo Finance, Wall Street Journal, coindesk etc...He expressed his frustration and indicated that all talks with him regarding PR have completely seized recently..Now my question is do we want PR? or do we not want PR? why is no one leading this charge? If its the case that we are waiting for things to stabilize then fine tell me this and Ill shut up.. Otherwise why complain if a professional is clearly offering and all we are doing is ignoring him. So give me the reigns in the marketing department if you will. I will work with Bitcoinprbuzz to get a sensational article in the above mentioned outlets and more. I have a lot of background in marketing as well as in programming so this is a piece of cake.

Come-from-beyond In p2p application especially in my poker app, how can we transfer the security from nxt to be used in a p2p application to remove 51% attack capabilities as an added protection? I am interested in this because I am devising global accounting schemes confirmed and verified by participators in the p2p poker app. It would be nice to get your input in this.

yesterday, I upgrade nxt client to 0.3.18, it works fine until this morning,
the block file stop to grow, 8 hours passed, the block number stoped at 14499.

Host all data on the blockchain. Then u won't need a server, a domain name and u can run a controlling node thru Tor. Whoever decides to attack ur poker game will have to bring the whole network down. |

One of the (hall)marked nodes crashed and let me to spot a flaw in blockchain downloading algo. I'm fixing it right now. |

how does the author of the soft wants people to support NXT, when the code is not yet open  can give you an example: I've bought 1m next, and half of it I'ved already shared with my friends for free... BUT the whole stake is still on my account since all my friends 4 of them devs , and 1 noob: a) don't want to install the wallet since is not open source and it's risky (devs case) b) can not install it coz its to complex (noob case) c) don't have the the time and patience to install the soft (my case) and after this you still write that you will stop the project ?  i think you need understand that until you wont release the code in public you dont need to expect any one to do anything, did satoshi made any kind of this noise ? ))) peace |

Some members of NTX dev team expressed interest in a Press Release but unfortunately until now I had not heard anything else from them. 0.5 BTC to 1 BTC will ensure we can do a massive PR campaign The only NXT address we have is on the dgex exchange - where NXT deposits are made manually. So BTC donations would be best. All BTC will be used to purchase NXT on the dgex exchange - as I want to hold more NXT as well as supporting the project BTC address for NXT campaign: 1DhWW2JhTFn1sx8wrMTDPDv6UnDUsbShnk Once we reach at least 0.5 BTC we can get the ball rolling Depending on the size of the marketing fund - we can do as many Press Releases as the budget will allow. Edit: Also it's better to have source code officially open, coz most of trolls ignore the fact that non-obfuscated java binaries r open source actually. With officially open sources they'll have less chances to troll. |
