It has to be big enough to encourage lots of accounts forging (staying active for the health of the network)  It has to be small enough to promote usage.  I say flat .1% across the board

Also host#2 sees host#1 with a blue cloud, how on earth did that happen?

But your answer to #2.... does the "you can generate the next block in..." message end up having the same exact time on each host?  (I dont have access to 1 of them right now)  or is it possible that by doing this that I double my forging power? cause that would be FREAKING AWESOME

ETA:  im at host#2 right now, and I see host#1's IP in the "active peers" window but its got a red flag on it.  why is that?

Blue cloud means that node is in well-known peers list.

"You can generate the next block in..." message is exactly the same. U can't double ur forging power this way, sorry

Red flag means that last request to that node was unsuccessful (switch "logPeerCommunication" on to figure out why).

I believe that if the network, client, etc. holds strong during the upcoming stress test, we might be looking at a 400-500% increase in NXT short-term valuation.  I hope that only initial investors are the ONLY ones selling at that point.  Fingers crossed!

I think zombies will help us, their number keeps increasing. I expect their master is smart enough to make them to rebroadcast all AS transactions over and over again. This is a good opportunity for App-level DDoS attack.

I can't register "Come-from-Beyond" so I won't take part in this show. But I would use 2 min if I had not much coins and 1440 for transactions with 100k fee.

i thought it was the reverse..

if you choose a big fee, the transaction will be processed first, so you only need a little deadline. You'll get the alias quicker

seems like theres all of a sudden a lot more blocks at a faster rate.  my guess is some people are forcing blocks via generating transactions to other accounts that they own.  I would do that to expedite this process except I wasnt an original founder that got tons of nxt, so I dont have as much forging power as lots have, and I need to keep as much NXT as I can for forging power.  Small chance but Id like to rake in some alias transaction fees!

Im sure I already used my luck up though, last week I scored a 700+ fee transaction.  Thats prob all the luck Ill get

I advise to use 2 min deadline coz if u see that most of transactions at ~100 NXT level then in 2 mins u can send another transaction with 150 NXT.

for large transactions zombie node AS transaction rebroadcasts shouldn't be a problem right ?  I expect AS transactions with low transaction fees should be delayed hours or days if Zombies attack...someone get the shotgun!  

Seriously what can we do to counter zombies ? captcha or time access delay at client level?
