delete all & try again

The entire blockchain?

Delete all files in folder and redownload soft. Also a tip: If you have dynamic IP address I found it helps to change your IP. In times where there are lot of chains I guess IPs on diff chains get blacklisted or something. When I change my IP address (disconnecting and connecting to net) I almost always find the longest chain and it works.

And comparing it to Bitcoin's beta is so retarded. Have you not noticed that crypto currencies have gathered a tiny bit more attention from the world since then? It's no coincidence that NXT's rival emunie is following similar development principles.

Which development principles do Nxt and eMunie share?

eMunie is in closed beta while the developer fixes issues. Meanwhile, Nxt rushes to sell coins to the public before it's stable while using the excuse that its still in beta when they have technical problems.

I don't see how the approaches could be more different.

I just setup a 2GB VPS hallmarked at: https://162.243.214.68:7875/

Thanks to laowai80: I sent you a 1LTC tip.

Interestingly, it does not show up in any of my lists when running locally on my laptop. Any idea why anyone?

thanx, I see your node:

I am using 0.4.2... there is a link on the first page.

I am using that version and it is *stuck* at 22930.

A solution that doesn't involve downloading another blockchain would be very much appreciated (will try changing my IP address now).

I was able to read instructions in this thread and download new nxtfiles.zip and revert back to 0.4.0 and BAM I came right back up.  I only assumed you were a troll because you seemed to be unable to read.  or unwilling, and wanted someone to hold your hand

The version of the software on the forum is still 0.4.2 (and I am not going to install some random software - so if they want to *downgrade* it then do it on the forum where everyone gets it from).

I don't believe the version is the issue though as I trashed all 0.4.2 connections (so I could not be connected to the "zombies" according to CfB's own description of them).

Ok, thanks for the confirmation.

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550
At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community.
This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.

Okay - thanks for that information - believe it or not I do hope that NXT will deliver (I invested it in so it is not in my interest for it to fail).

Is Transparent Mining to be implemented according to the schedule (at block 25000)? It's pretty soon.

Both closed source to some degree, will be fully open sourced later.

Check out my signature top line, I posted a short guide on how to set up your public node.

To public the node, I remember that one should add IP address in the command line to start Nxt. It seems that "java -jar start.jar /IP" or something like that? Please confirm it. Thanks.

No. U have to put ur IP into myAddress in web.xml.

Am guessing once again then my client will never catch up.

So CfB do we have another blockchain to download now?
