Have yourself a merry Java Christmas,
Let your code be light
From now on,
our troubles will be out of sight.

Have yourself a merry Java Christmas,
Make the zombies pay,
From now on,
our troubles will be miles away.

Here we are as in olden days,
Happy Bitcoin days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Redistribute NXT to us once more.

Through the years
We all will be together,
If the Fates allow
Hang NXT upon the highest bough.
And have yourself a merry Java Christmas now.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I feel so *"#¤ stupid for selling half a million NXT a week ago.  Cry  Enjoy the ride guys.
Don't be. For true success of PoS-only currency a part of all coins MUST be given away, another part MUST be sold (for very low price at start ofc). It can be very non-trivial equation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prisoner's_dilemma.

Ok, any ETA on next version?

I'm testing it now. Going to release it in 4 hours if everything ok.

Hi there,

A question, I read about 50 pages here and couldn't sort it out.

Am I supposed to see a countdown where blocks found are in order to verify that I'm forging? Because I can't see it. I want to send myself the NXT I have in dgex but I'd like to see it's working (forging) before doing it. What am I doing wrong?

Question 2) how do I know what version I have and whether I should update or not? If I have to, I just delete old version and execute the new one?

Thanks Smiley

Hey I have a question for the forging experts here!

I just forged a block (wow, just 2 days after I started, nice).

Now the timer with "You can forge a block in ..." has disappeared from the block list.

Is this normal? What does it mean, like I can only generate 1 block in a timeframe? Thanks!

Edit: I was on a "false" chain. Boo hoo. Too good to be true ;(

I believe you have to wait for 1440 confirmations before you can see the countdown timer working (forging)
In je java client you're running you can see the version

Is it possible to forge from more than one machine at a time?

This way if one machine stops working, the other will continue to forge.

Yes, I see a lot of guys do the same, coz their blocks appear on different branches.
