OK, the server is basically starting on the Pi, however, with the openjdk7 JRE it is loading and closing DEAD SLOW. It is a >7 min load, although Pi is overclocked and has fast SD card with swap.

I'll try now both to use the Oracle SE JRE and to tweak down the settings. I'll keep you posted.

I'm running 0.4.7e which seems to be following the block chain but is showing "Recent blocks [-355]" and "Orphaned blocks [449]", is this normal?

F5

Thanks, working fine now.

My chain has a height 24303 and my most recent block is ID 9313061582945657198

Is that the right chain? im asking because it seems like i made a transaction on the wrong chain last night but my current account balance reflects that the transaction did infact take place.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?

Also, would you invest right now? are we in a bubble? I have been waiting and it has only gone higher.

I was always saying that Bitcoin is not a bubble but a snowball. Now I'm going to say that Nxt is a snowball.

CfB,  what do you think about this idea.  my account balance is very modest compared to many big stakeholders but I am running 5 very large powerful nodes.  would it be a good idea for me to get some large account holders to Hallmark for me and let me run their large balance hallmarks on each of my 5 nodes?

I am a network engineer by trade and in general we build a core network around some very large routers. my thought here is this follows through with peer to peer and since I have 5 very large horsepower nodes but my hallmark is not very good weightd high at all because of my fairly low account balance so I'm thinking that if some high balance accounts can hallmark with my hostnames for my nodes it may help the network

I think it's a good idea as long as u don't go to dark side of the force.

Ok I think it's working now. Can someone give me a small amount (smallest possible) of NXT coins to see if it works properly?? I want to test it before I buy larger quantities.

Maybe this will help give some perspective. Lets say nxt got to the point where it had the same market cap as bitcoin does now.
