my Nxt wallet version is 0.4.4. now it has been stuck at block 24512 for almost hours.
please someone help.
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

At the moment, the rise of prices is nice, but there will be drops, too.
I just hope people won´t panic and dump at that moment. But people will be people, so it probably will happen.

The activity at this moment is the same as for a new exciting altcoin. HUGE rises and probably some huge drops at some point, too.

The coin is very young and not stable yet. That is not a criticism. I see so much good work going in, that in the long term it will, I believe be a very credible medium.

It also makes for much needed excitement during my holidays  Grin

I already announced the assignement of our bounty prizes to 3 winners (+100K to wesleyh for his Mac client, and 200K for Anon136 for his initialization of Nxt algo). The video bounty winner produced by lyynx is an awesome short introduction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsKPyq_zL5g

And I already assigned 60K for the rasspery pi public nodes idea, previously posed here.
Also 10K for the guy who helped to remove several buggs, if it be confirmed first, I am not fully informed about the truth. For details please refer to our bounty thread.

And here I place 90K for 30 public nodes to be placed in different geographical places, 3 months period!!!
(and hope these public nodes allow me to access them as well, most of them deny and inform "Matrix has you..." that means shit!

You know it represents NXT, but a newcomer won't see that imo. Or will they?

But yes I agree it's maybe the best logo so far.

Now it works. Added IP address directly instead of just * IP address notation.

I used nxt client which I downloaded previously in my raspberry. The client from distribution was giving me null pointer exception.

Anybody interested in sponsoring, donation or bounty for running my Raspberry PI NXT node, please use the NXT address in my signature.

I will try to keep it running.

Does the DDoS cause the nodes to max out their bandwidth on transmit or receive?
