All the Dutch language contributions I've made can be found here if someone wants to start integrating them. Don't have much spare time this weekend.

http://nxt-nl.wikia.com/wiki/Nxt_NL_Wiki

I'll see what I can do. I wanted to translate, too, but didn't want to rain on your parade Smiley

By all means, feel free to help. Like I said, I don't have too much time this weekend and would love to see others contribute. So far one other user has made a contribution. It's a lot of work for one person, so if you're up for it go for it. Lets me take up an editing role, apart from the pure translation work and adds some variety.

NL/EN Translator. Will work for crypto.

DLXS

I don´t see how we could have higher rates of return for smaller accounts. It just doesn´t add up. In any case, what prevents someone from creating 1000 accounts to take advantage of higher payouts for smaller accts. Your proposal will lead to massive account explosion, though we are probably safe even if everyone had 1000 accts, still penalizing someone who has acquired more NXT seems counter productive to me.

NXT is a meritocracy. The more you do, the more you get, the more you have the more you earn. You are an early adopter and have a big advantage over all but a few thousand ahead of you. Take advantage of your advantage!

Peers eh?

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550
At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community.
This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.

I read upthread about an idea to visualize the globe with peers, similar to https://blockchain.info/nodes-globe. Is anyone going to do that? I could provide APIs to determine next forging accounts and also some kind of tracert protocol.

This would be awesome to have. Anyone? I can donate but it is beyond my skill and/or knowledge.

Did you try to restart?

Got like 142 active peers and >300 known peers.

-----

@jl777: didn't think of it this way. Dunno how to solve this issue as anyone can open as many accounts as possible. I was just thinking that "rich are already rich, let's help those who own a few". But not possible, true. Thanks for answering!

Does this mean that I forged a block? I didn't see my account balance increased. I guess if I restart it, it will.

BTW, if the countdown for the possible block generated is, let's say, 5 minutes and I close and open the wallet straight away, will this time be restarted? In that case, I should never close it or otherwise, when I close it, it's like it has been wasting time because it didn't forge the block that was going to be forged (or likely to forge)?

EDIT: Now I reloaded the page and I can't see this transaction anymore. What was that?

I just added Pablitos well known peers list to my web.xml.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.10013

Seems to give me more peers faster, but i'm still only seeing 21, 30mins after restart. Could this be because i'm behind a NAT proxy?

That is the correct block, but something weird might be going on after that. Let me check

did this and i am still on block 26191

i dont understand how so many people could all be on the wrong chain. if just one person sniffed it out than the new longer chain should spread like a virus. isnt there something in the code that says that each node should ping all ajacent nodes atleast once per minute and ask them how long their chain is? if everyone did this than there is no way a longer chain could stay isolated for any reasonable amount of time. SOMEONE would find it and as soon as they did it would spread like lice in a daycare.

In continuation of the announcement that we r looking for more Nxt core devs, there are features we r planning to implement till block 525960 (in alphabetical order):

- Alias System (done)
- Arbitrary Messages (partially)
- Asset Exchange (done)
- Distributed Computing (concept not ready)
- Distributed Storage
- Instant Transactions (requires peer review)
- Mixing Service (concept not ready)
- Multisignatures
- Service Providers
- Shrinking
- Smart Contracts (concept not ready)
- Transparent Mining (partially)
- Two-phase Payments
- Voting System
- some non-revealed features

I'd like to get ur opinions what features should be implemented in the 1st place.

Sorry for the stupid question, but where does colored coins fits in?

Pin

Should be in Asset Exchange.
