1. Shutdown NXT
2. Install 0.5.1
3. Delete all .nrx files in NXT root directory
4. At that same location create a new file blockchain.nrs
5. Start NXT and wait for a while until blockchain downloads, like 15 minutes

Or wait while script will do it automatically Cool

@VPS-owners What is "numberOfUsers" at your http://VPS:7874/nxt?requestType=getState ? Have 2, but I haven't logged in. Somebody uses my servers, seriously?

Unconfirmed transactions [3902]

you guys see this?

Many transactions are from December.

Me 2

I restarted NXT on one node, that cleaned them off, but still showing on others, must be some sort of spamming the network?

1. Shutdown NXT
2. Install 0.5.1
3. Delete all .nrx files in NXT root directory
4. At that same location create a new file blockchain.nrs
5. Start NXT and wait for a while until blockchain downloads, like 15 minutes

That only works for when you can't download the blockchain.
The blockchain is good this time, just a bunch of funny unconfirmed transactions showing in the left transaction tab Smiley

Well you missed the debate on few previous pages. If you are having funny unconfirmed transactions that means your NXT is not
working well. I had the same funny tx issue but also a sort of blockchain rollback that resulted in permanently corrupted .nxt files.

3. Delete all .nxt and .nxt.bak files in NXT root directory

LOL, everyone quoted me before corrections were made, stop it!  Grin

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

No, I read that debate, but there you had blocks wrong too. Blocks are ok with me, just those unconfirmed transactions show. Restarting NXT helps to clear them off, no need to download anything again. Just wondering what the heck this is all about. As for NXT working well, it's not at that point with anyone yet, we're still on the way to this goal. Maybe some time by April Smiley

Number of funny tx you mentioned is very similar to number of orphaned blocks I encountered. Is someone attempting to do a rollback
on older version nodes?

No idea, but I don't see any orphan blocks. All blocks are going normal, as they should be. Only many unconfirmed transactions.

All nodes have 1100-3000 unconfirmed transactions, no orphan blocks.
Restarting helps clear those unconfirmed txs to 0.
Some monkey business going on here.

Wait a second... you guys still see blockchain.nrs in that folder?   Huh

I read somewhere in the past, what You should not worry about blockchain.nrs. Somebody can confirm am I right?

After checking, running, restarting everything so often there came one thing in my mind: could it be connected with the operating system, in which java and client runs? Could everybody, posting problems with some crashes and need of restarting, also post operating system, client version? I presume most problems happens in Windows Smiley

I'm running just normal computer and normal NXT node. You know, download NXT, install, run. Just 1 node. Balance is 501 NXT.
TCP port was not forwarded so I added port forwarding with http://sourceforge.net/projects/upnp-portmapper but D:U ratio still
goes 1:50+ almost immidiately after I ran NXT. When looking at current blocks tab as well as peers tab, it becomes obvious that
my node uploads a lot of data to all other nodes as soon as it receives a new block.

remove that port forward if the data traffic is causing you problems.  maybe your IP got added into a list somewhere for wellknownpeers is the only thing I can guess

Can you reset your modem/router to try to get a different IP address?  Are you at home on private IP net or does the PC have a public IP address?  Temp change the MAC on your PC to try to force a new DHCP lease with a new address

Maybe we could create an asset organisation in some exotic liberal country? Would you pay me for living in Seychelles or in Panama? Cheesy

If one were truly committed to creating a NXT/Fiat gateway... the best way to go would be through a Belize International Business Company (IBC) that is owned by a Belize Trust.

Here is how you do it:

a. You create the Belize Trust (Trustees, Beneficiaries, etc.)
b. The Trust incorporates the IBC; thus the Trust is the owner of the IBC and not the beneficiaries of the Trust.
c. IBC creates a business presence online (website, NXT Asset Exchange gateway, etc.)
d. All bank, merchant, exchange, etc. accounts are opened by the IBC.
e. Belize bank account is in $.
f. The physical address associated with all accounts is the corporate address of the IBC.
g) There is NO TAX for income earned from IBCs outside Belize.

You are looking at $1500-2000 to set this up and around $1000 yearly expenses to renew the Belize contracts.

And YES... it is all COMPLETELY LEGAL!!!   Wink

I´m in. anyone want to join? Smaragda?

Interesting...

Is it just a matter of time before any mining account will forge a block? Or will accounts with smaller balances never do so?
