22k.io: nxt search and explore

It's a new version of 22k.io! You can do some neat stuff.

- New design!
- New index that is less susceptible to the blockchain getting out of sync.
- Home page search supports typeahead of alias names! Check it out.
- Pretty URLS like /account and /alias!
- "Tiny urls" using nxt aliases http://22k.io/go/google
- Inspect an alias including owner: http://22k.io/alias/nrsversion
- Inspect an account: http://22k.io/account/4915862015826193000
- /block and /transaction coming soon

Known issues: duplicates in search results, no pagination

Tips appreciated: 4915862015826193000. Thanks!

Looking good!

All nodes have 1100-3000 unconfirmed transactions, no orphan blocks.
Restarting helps clear those unconfirmed txs to 0.
Some monkey business going on here.

yes, you a right. looks strange, many dgex transfers inside.

ps: still growing...

It's due to minus blocks bug. Unconfirmed transactions list is not cleaned in this case.

ahh, thx for the info. since the sources are released i am
attentive for strange peer behaviour the next weeks ;-)

Who "works" for Nxt fulltime?

Why do you need it? Like "NXT ecosystem is actively developed by this many people"?

I work full-time on NXT-related thingy right now. But my nick is a site URL (which was probably not a very good idea Smiley )

So if you want to include me into a number, that's fine, but if you want to mention me in some sort of "credits", that's problematic...

Edit: hey, you can strip the ".com", you'll get something that looks like a nick Smiley

The video will have 8 parts, this will be used in 1 part. I am gathering tons of statistics for this

Hello friends,
Another question for my Nxtmyths video:

Who "works" for Nxt fulltime? Who spends on developing / PR / community helping 40-90 hours/week?

I didn't spend hours on doing this list, so anyone can tell me and I will add him. I am pretty sure about bolded people, but others are only a guess, so you can tell me if you belong to the list of people who work for Nxt fulltime (haven't got another job or work for Nxt during his regular job for 40 hours/week+)

Developers:
BCNext, Come-from-Beyond, Jean-Luc, Klee's crew: Vasilis Kokkinidis,  Grigoris Grigoriadis, Huh

2X84, abuelau, BaiMangal, Ferment, maco, nexern, wesleyh, yueye000, GCInc.,

Debuggers:
Ricot, ImmortAlex, FrictionlessCoin

Managing PR:
Utopianfuture, Joefox, Uniqueorn, NiftyNikel, Salsacz

Helpers:
Pinarello, johnycrypt, Rickyjames,

Graphic designers:

thanks for now, but more questions and PMs will come Smiley

BTW who missed my Questionairre about Nxt myths, you can still fill it here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1ksk6tgs6gfrYZLd30NWQw3VfrTkKavHPHlxvnV0sD1E/viewform

Bump, I register also half-timers, these already replied:

Devs:
Abuelau, Graviton (GCInc.) + his assistant, nexern, ImmortAlex,

PR:
Salsacz, Pinarello, Joefox

Im pretty much here in this thread fulltime as well, and also on http://forums.nxtcrypto.org as well as NXT Foundation work of organizing/collaborating with the www/info/forums/download site owners, and also with Jean-Luc on releasing files.  We're trying to get a procedure up for release and Ill go ahead and lay it out here:

1) JLP releases a new client.zip file and uploads it to download.nxtcrypto.org and to forums.nxtcrypto.org

2) JLP updates this thread with a GPG-signed message containing the link to the 2 sites he put the file on as well as the checksum.  We are trying to solidify the standard of path and filename format to something like http://info.nxtcrypto.org/download/nxt-client-0.5.1.zip and http://forums.nxtcrypto.org/download/nxt-client-0.5.1.zip

3) When the www and info site see the new release they update their sites.

4) When I see the new release I update the thread https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=234

Maybe we could create an asset organisation in some exotic liberal country? Would you pay me for living in Seychelles or in Panama? Cheesy

If one were truly committed to creating a NXT/Fiat gateway... the best way to go would be through a Belize International Business Company (IBC) that is owned by a Belize Trust.

Here is how you do it:

a. You create the Belize Trust (Trustees, Beneficiaries, etc.)
b. The Trust incorporates the IBC; thus the Trust is the owner of the IBC and not the beneficiaries of the Trust.
c. IBC creates a business presence online (website, NXT Asset Exchange gateway, etc.)
d. All bank, merchant, exchange, etc. accounts are opened by the IBC.
e. Belize bank account is in $.
f. The physical address associated with all accounts is the corporate address of the IBC.
g) There is NO TAX for income earned from IBCs outside Belize.

You are looking at $1500-2000 to set this up and around $1000 yearly expenses to renew the Belize contracts.

And YES... it is all COMPLETELY LEGAL!!!   Wink

I´m in. anyone want to join? Smaragda?

What is the return in investment ?

I'm working on setting up a news site, purchased nxtnews.co and of course the alias..

setting up a host and getting wordpress installed.  plan on an honest, unfiltered outlet for articles, charts, and trends.

if anyone had any suggestions or wants to contribute, please let me know

We do have http://info.nxtcrypto.org as our news site that is updated very regularly.  also there is a forum for news items discussion at https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/viewforum.php?f=49  please give it another shot - we've recently changed the site look.

We're always happy for increased contribution in the forums!

Hey opticalcarrier, thanks for those links, I know about nxtcrypto and have even contributed articles, but there is some biased editing going on there.  i had articles killed on nxt gambling sites and more importantly on dgex adding fees. these are important things for the community to know, and its not acceptable to just pretend all is hunky dory.

I'm not trying to pick a fight, but I think we as investors need to full story.

I find it very strange that a thread on dgex adding fees was deleted on nxtcrypto.org  Can you tell me when this happened and your user ID there?  I will track it down, there are only few people there with those permissions and it wasnt me

This is my account and I got so much money coz one guy mistakenly assigned an alias with 119K fee.

Price crashing phenomenally.. 0.000045

I hope only whales sell at this price...

Most likely small guys sell fearing to lose more, whales are buying from them cheaper. It always works like this in trading. That's why even if 100 000 people equally received 10 000 NXTs each, 1 year later top 10-20% would own 80-90% of all NXTs. Same is true for any other asset.
And that's way changings in basics of Nxt shouldn't be globally voted by coins.

BCNext may implement Pooled Forging as a part of Account Control feature. Don't invest too much time into ur pool, it may become obsolete soon.

I don't hold any NXT, but I've been following NXT for the past two weeks or so and noticed something I don't really get.

How come there are such large jumps in trading volume for NXT? Last week, there has been a period of it being at around $400,000-ish every day. This morning I'm pretty sure it was in the $30,000 range and now it's at $150,000. For comparison, when NXT was at $400,000, NMC and PPC, the two biggest "secondary" alts, were at $800,000-$900,000 trading volume and the market was quite calm in general due to crash recovery, holidays, etc. Right now, the market is booming and both those have trading volumes well over $3,000,000, with NXT, as mentioned, being way lower than before. Didn't watch other alts too closely, but I guess it's reflected there as well to an extent - at the very least I think it's the case for those coins traded on BTC-e.

I don't have any proof and can't find any historical comprehensive source on altcoin performances right now, so my memory might trick me on this one. Still, though, how is that possible? That, including the whole distribution mode of NXT, kinda scares me to buy in.

My source for data is coinmarketcap.com, by the way.

The issues all come down to Dgex, which is the only exchange for Nxt and the only source for coinmarketcap stats.  The site is often unavailable (ddos attacks) and subject to manipulation, furthermore, they've implemented outrageous fees causing many to shy away from trading.

24h volume on dgex is 584.72680404 BTC * 950 IS   554800 IS there a problem with http://coinmarketcap.com/ ?

I wonder, how low we will go today... It's 0.000036 even on DGEX...

That is really-really ugly.
I am managing Nxt investments from 3 friends. It was their first crypto-investment. They got in at 0.00006. All 3 called me today already what to do now and if we should sell.. I told the mnot to panic. I hope I will be right...
Divide friends and business, what can I tell?  Roll Eyes If you're their manager, u took decision even if 99%-price fall'll happen. And if u're mediator, well, do exactly as they'll say  Tongue

Money and inconsistent managing of risks destroyed too many relationships to support that model ever again, I suppose.
