Hi guys,
We would need some PR and marketing on big, trusted sites like Yahoo Financials or Financial Times Online or whatever. There is a bounty for it. Does anyone know about someone having the power to do it? The last time, when the price hit it's highest we had some media coverage (and the alias feature added) which helped to get new Nxters on the boat.
What we need is a Nxt SR market, that would really drive the price of Nxt Nxt has its upswing on new features released and usability. I think the market will take care of itself if we have a fully functioning client (nexern). We really need something to talk with the media about, at this point we have a relatively unstable client with a huge list of potential features, need to be patient. This! BECAUSE not MSC nor BTS nor ePussie (muni in Greek) will do that!! To politically correct & snobbish lol They want the quadrillion market! Why should they care about these second class black markets eh? Just like BTC. The stupid early adopters were playing it happy when SR closed - so fucking ungratefull to what made cryptos really worth something. Too bad NXT is not totally anonymous (anonymous minted with mixer for the early investors, +Anoncoin features, +zerocoin/coinjoin) too make BTC REALLY obsolete in a night (combined with a distributed marketplace). Discaimer: I give shit about these markets about personal use etc, I just want NXT to cover system D etc to make it No1

Also, this is confusing: Is DGEX not part of the community? What makes the NXT community separate from DGEX? Are you referring to the forum? Does anyone else see what I'm getting at here or am I a complete lunatic? DGEX is a part of NXT community, just not official in any capacity. Pin is also not a official voice of NXT community. 100% correct I am not the voice of NXT, this was as reaction from me after the article were graviton said he was thrid in command at NXT. I will remove the post at once. No problem with that. Pin

If someone doesn't like fees, then remember how much money did you make on Dgex or outside it but because there was such thing as Dgex. If there was no Dgex and nextcoin.org we'd still have Nxt around 0.000001 Btc and one thread here on bitcointalk. you are right, I hope it shouldn't be secret, but he told me he works for Nxt 90 hours/week + his assistant 60 hours/week (as I remember well)

... At first it might need someone to make a market to get the trades going. I would be more than happy to do that, as that is kind of my day job. Anybody can place orders in the orderbook, just need to select the NXT/USD or NXT/BTC pair. ...
I have many XRP And some btc and usd @Stamp.. I purchased about 1.3k of NXT on the Peercover BTC/NXT orderbook a few hours ago, but it's kinda sparse: I look forward to seeing more people trading there soon. Check NXT/XRP. You can convert XRP to BTC.

When one do not charge you to get in and later do not allow you to get out for free than it is called a scam. Very simple. Should I mention it takes as long as 2+ days to get NXT out, with a 0.9 PERCENT fee? On a funny note, check nxt:rawdog Peace!

The topic of "complex" URIs has come up a few times in the past. Today I started implementing ideas on Aliases that store arrays and objects. At this point, I don't think it's a good idea. If the "uri" of an aliases is genuinely supposed to be a URI as defined by RFC2396, implementing this idea would break the standard. The purpose of a URI is to point to some data or location. I'm not sure it's wise to overload that meaning by inserting data into an alias.
The better solution is to wait on Arbitray Messages then assign the URI of specific message (nxtmsg?) to an alias.

It's good to see some reasonable behavior in here for a change! Just for the record before I delete the unauthorized advertisement on nextcoin.org, such an obvious agenda for downplaying competition on their own yard - and trying to score the points home for that is, well, almost tragicomic; Disclaimer: I am not - in any way - affiliated with Ripple or Peercover. This guide is for informational purposes only. There are a number of reasons you may want to consider:
According to DGEX's website, NXT withdrawals are currently delayed from their normal schedule. NXT withdrawals are 0.9%. BTC withdrawals are 1.4% - 2.8% depending on your desired speed. Nxtchg, another NXT exchange, is handling trades manually. Peercover offers free, automated trading. Peercover deposits/withdrawals, in my experience, have executed within just a few hours (more info on this later in the guide). We need to create a market in the most advantageous environment! Now which one sounds better to you: trading in an environment with or without fees? Manually operated or automated? Calling all rational investors! These are factual statements. Are you trying to prevent freedom of speech? I think that does it for now... thanks nxtgt for visiting our DGEX sponsored forum and good luck for your business!

Re-posting my Public Service Announcement:If you are new to Nxt and don't want to read through 807 pages of forum posts, come to the wiki: - Learn about Nxt- Get started- get basic questions answered in the FAQ and common problems pages - Learn how to set up a public node on a VPS, using laowai80's steps- read up on the Nxt high-level API, which you can use to build apps, games, clients, utilities, and more Also remember there are great forums with lots of info and support for beginners. Many of the best Nxt wiki articles are based on information originally contributed here: - The nxtcrypto.org forum- The nextcoin.org forumI comb these forums every day and pull tidbits to update the wiki with, so that you don't have to. This thread is long and daunting for new folks. Don't get frustrated -- come to the places where new folks are welcomed and pampered!
