Here's my Nxt client, still in development, you may find some bugs, but wanted to show off this version: http://nxtra.org/nxt-client/As you'll see it's a web client. It is my hope that this might one day replace the official NRS web client now seen at http://localhost:7874 but that is up to Jean-Luc and CFB to decide. I will be making a 1 click installer for linux/windows/mac later on as well. Really like this client. Would like this one to be included in the official package. With an installer it would be very profesional and Nextcoin would be so much easier to use than it is currently. Nice work!

Really glad to hear the NXT fee is coming down! NXT will definitely be the the most fair system out there! (Considering there is also no inflation, unlike Bitcoin's +-10% inflation which is paid to miners + you often incur a minimum fee that is already higher than the current NXT fee!) This will also rapidly increase adoption along with the simple install clients!
I think in the long term there should be a formula for devising the fee, which should be a % of the transaction (0.5%?) but with a min and max fee that maybe track something relating to the gold price. (If the min fee is set in NXT it will become more expensive as NXT gets more valuable. If the min fee is set in $, the fee will get cheaper over time, but linking it to gold might keep it fairly balanced.)
I'm a +1 for the 0.1 NXT fee for the time being

Hi NXTers!
NXT's greatest competitor seem to be Ethereum. It's main feature that NXT still lacks is scripting, which is a wonderful idea (along with it's risks of course) - kudos to Vitalik and his team for bringing this up!
Because I want NXT to be competitive and because this is a great feature on it's own, I decided to personally fund a team led by CIYAM and CfB (as long as he is with us), to implement this technology in NXT too!
The code will be open sourced when the feature is finished and extensively tested. We will use a private github repo if others want to easily review the source during development.
Let the good times roll!
Damn that is good news.

www.nxtclient.orgIt's not finished yet. I didn't put the links in it because I don't know how we will promote them, which is really open source and who's client gets a separate homepage. If you have any ideas or suggestions for this site: PM me or write here. I'm no pro web designer but donations are welcome.

Hello to all community members. I'm doing infographic for nxt. I want to do it clear for spectators and do not to overload of information. I want to create a positive emotional image of the nxt. For now we have the good stills which is as close to our aim as it posible ( Draft version you can see here). But there still a lot of work: 1. Need to make a quality sound design . 2 . Need to record dictors russian and english (the final video must be without subtitles) . 3 . Probably there are logical inconsistencies in the text in the video. Let me know if you found it. + Debugging images (color corrections, backgrounds and some more stuff) We will have to pay to dictors and to sound designer, and rightly so I think. Therefore, if for this project can distinguish bounty or donation, of which I can pay for the work of specialists, it would be very cool. In addition, for fun, I suggest to show in the video accounts which do any donation. More about this into original topicI'm going to finish work for the two weeks. Nxt account for donations is 8987437801852093688 PM me if you have any suggestions.

If the MIT/Johns Hopkins folks can't/won't do your Crypto/Curve25519 audit for the bounty, I would have time later this month to do it (I'm DoctorEvil on Nextcoin.org BTW).
I already reviewed the primary literature on Curve25519/ECKCDSA, examined several implementations of both and am working on a clean room implementation of the relevant algorithms myself just to make sure I understand them 100%. As a bonus I'd make my extra implementation part of the deliverable. My implementation wouldn't be meant to replace the existing highly optimized one. However, since it's aim would be comprehensibility/correctness as opposed to speed, it would make writing ports easier.
Given my pseudonymous identity, I can't present credentials other than my online reputation ... so depending on exactly what the community wants out of this audit, there is that to consider.

So if we ever make coins or something we will need a slogan. USD has in god we trust. Bitcoin has "vires in numeris" which means strength in numbers. I thought for nxt we might use "In emergentia speramus" which translates to "in emergence we trust" I wanted to write something else underneath the nxt logo that i put on my silver bars so "In emergentia speramus" is what i came up with. All constructive comments welcome. Big thanks to cryptonikus for approaching a latin professor on this matter.

Why the price is rising? Something happens today?
we have always had lots of new comers and lots of demand. if the price is rising than its probably coming from changes in the supply side not the demand side. we probably FINALLY worked through the massive resistance of w/e monster stake holder was selling any time the price rose above 0.00007
