I'm having a heck of a time running this from the terminal. Do I need to put this in /bin and then type ./nodeminder <acct>?
Just simple ./nodeminer xxxxx Keep getting -bash: ./nodeminer: Permission denied |

Which brings me to some important questions about where are we heading with charity marketing:
Is SoL going to be the "official" NXT charity?
Are we going to make an ongoing commitment to them, or move on to another good cause after we hit the target?
Are multiple charity projects a good idea?
Does any one have any suggestions for another charity to support?
I think it would be better to support 10 charities by 10.000 than 1 by 100.000. 1 would be nice if it was some famous or viral charity. Tons of Nxters already suggested to donate for Wikileaks foundation. If Nxt is going to become the whole platform for all decentralized applications and internet, it would be nice to support those who fight for decentralized internet and get their attention. + Wikileaks provides huge media attention and contacts. Some people mentioned Electronic Frontier Foundation https://www.eff.org/ and it is about the rights on the internet. So it is followed by 200.000 people from crypto and digital medias. EFF already accepts Bitcoin ( https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2013/05/thank-you-bitcoin-community) and has got 3xmore followers on Facebook and 400x more followers on Twitter (180.000) than songsoflove.org. We have the same goal here - to have internet without censorship of the governments. Nxt will provide it. Other charities we might focus on are the green ones, since Nxt is not only about fight against controll of the governments, but also fight for lower electricity spent in crypto world. |

reset? so we loose all assets / balances again? Yes. If it's necessary to keep them then I could do a full reset later (in several days) but we still need to do final testing with reset blockchain. |

Whoever has testnet acct 8045498363545361273, I am seeing the pings on my server. You are probably running ubuntu?
It seems there are some problems with Windows and maybe even Mac.
OK, it was a server side problem. I got it working on Mac, but I cant test on windows. I was seeing the same error on the Mac, so maybe it works on Windows now. I am not sure how many requests the server side can handle, it was designed for LAN, not for large number of simultaneous connections. If it dies while I am sleeping, as long as the nodeminer is running, you wont lose the nodecoins. James Edit: I am seeing 13997163105778396158 and 8045498363545361273 now. Can either of you test to see if you get the nodecoin Asset after sending in 1 NXT to the nodecoin server acct 18232225178877143084. Please report if you get the coins. It will happen on the next block after the block with the payment any detailed info or instruction for test nodecoin on Win? |

chmod +x nodeminer You're a rockstar. Don't know much about OS X *nix... I tried sudo but that didn't work. chmod did the trick! Thanks! |

If your node refuses to accept it, this means you are on a fork. Your base target is probably very high too, another indication of being on the wrong fork.
If it doesn't recover by itself, you will need to delete the nxt_db folder and redownload the blockchain.
What is wrong with the consensus mechanism? - yes, it would be nice to hear the answer. How can it happens, that node "doesn't recover by itself" ? If so, that it is definitely something wrong with the consensus mechanism ... |

why to change BCNEXT design plan? just asking.. Not change, but you don't have to follow it 100%. Everyone has their own opinions, so just everyone contribute what they think is best and see what we end up with  (So far it's looking pretty good) |
