@CFB Back in November when the community needed bootstrapping servers, i purchased one and you had set it up. I don't believe you have touched the server since, so my question, is this server still needed? This is a Digital Ocean 2gb ram/40 gb ssd server, is this overkill as well? If this server is still needed i would like to have it up to date and running, otherwise I'm just throwing money away. Perhaps a community member would like to volunteer to manage? I honestly don't have time right now to manage, but don't mind keeping it on if it is of use to the community and utilized.

if you want you can downgrade it to a 1GB nonSSD VPS and I can manage it with my other 24 servers for NRS

Nxt does need it.

Hello,

I have bought some NXT on poloniex but when i try to move them to my wallet it says that the 0.00 daily withdrawal limit for next has been reached.

Should i sell back my NXT? I got some on Bter and moved them to my wallet without problem.

Contacting support has proved not very fast/reliable. Is anyone aware of the current status of NXT on poloniex?.

Thanks

@ CFB or @ JL

We have been working on an exchange for about 2 months and are now moving towards production and testing. However, after an API related post I viewed yesterday, one of my developers had the following question.

"are they changing the API from a RESTFUL implementation into a java implementation?"

They've never been a RESTFUL implementation. What does ur dev mean?

ty CFB. As for dev, it's just short for developer

 Roll Eyes lol

I still waiting for the MyNxt.info

That would be great. The last droplet I had was Cent OS 6.4 x64, would this stay the same? Also, i do not see an option for a nonSSD in the Digital Ocean droplet creation tool. I see 1GB CPU/30 GB SSD/2 TB Transfer

Similar stuff will be available with account control, developed right now by BCNext himself.

please rename the device to lyynx.vps.nxtcrypto.org, then reinstall to debian6 x64.  SSD is fine, but unncesessary.  and get me the IP address and root password after reinstall and Ill can put it into my automated NRS system.  After I get your DNS A record put in you can go in and set reverse DNS PTR record in the control panel.

I am extremely impressed with this site, I have recently signed up and funded the account.  It's going to give cryptsy a nice run for their money.

Is it my imagination or do Emule and FrictionlessCoin seem to go off their meds at roughly the same time?

Yes, always the same. Looks like sock puppets

so I asked Bitpay about accepting Nxt, answer:

Bitpay processes payments using the most secure payment network, Bitcoin. We are often asked whether we will accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and even alternative digital currencies. These forms of payment are more vulnerable to various kinds of payment fraud. Users may however pay BitPay invoices by converting various other kinds of assets into Bitcoin via the many available Bitcoin exchanges and paying with the purchased bitcoin.
In the future we anticipate wallets will support such exchange in real-time at the point of purchase.

I've met up with them a few times, the answer has been fairly consistent:

No immediate plans.

Heck, even Coinbase has no immediate plans to add Litecoin (as per Coblee's Miami speech).  We certainly have our challenges ahead of us, no doubt.

CfB,

Is it hard to make (or convert) an asset to require multisig?

Any chance of getting this anytime soon?

It would allow the issuance of assets in a trustless way by having a holding acct for the asset that would not be able to transfer or sell it. To release the asset, multisig would be required. This one mechanism would allow NXT Assets to have very coin like properties.

If this is not possible, do you have suggestions on how to properly "issue" new coins to "miners", when the coin is a NXT asset.

James
