Still sends the pw to the server though, would need an API available but websockets are a good idea or something like that might be a good idea.

Yup - something to mull over and discuss with JL I think.

BTW - I tried "Add Contact" (to an unused address) and now I am just stuck on that dialog (Submitting button disabled and nothing responds).

Also I have sent you several "messages" about other things.

Hmm, I get no such errors. Which browser? Are you still on the page? Anything in the error console?

I've seen your messages, will implement.

Except maybe ENTER to submit. Gotta be careful that people don't press it accidentally.. I like to force the user to move the mouse and click the submit button instead.

And the shopping module?

What shopping module?

I think he means the Store Front.

I'm working on Digital Goods Store. Dunno what Store Front is.

That's the baby Smiley

What's uncomfortable about the clients ( http://nxtclients.org ) there are some great clients on there.

Yup - something to mull over and discuss with JL I think.

CIYAM , Ive asked myself several times the following:

why dont you port NXT to C++ and create a Bitcoin-like multiplatform desktop wallet for it , featuring COLD STORAGE of that cNXT

The masses will come to this quicker than one can see.

Nxt's java and utterly uncomfortable clients have been making many people disregard it, UNFORTUNATELY

c++ and proven wallet model for the win

Nxt is doomed to fail because it attracts almost nobody new -- which is why it cant go to the next level. it are 98% the same people in this community. no wide adoption at all,  because it is extremely user unfriendly compared to Bitcoin and co. it completely lacks the feeling of easy-going out of the box for most people.

we all know this, even CfB does but he doesnt care cuz hes a terminal geek and I respect that Grin

Edit: found problem, during rearranging code, the part that loads the password wasnt called, so a secretphrase of "" probably deserves to get an error Smiley

It's a legit secret phrase. It even has transactions!
I guess the problem was that it didnt have any NXT or assets to send, "unknown acct" error seems to be a catchall error?

Oh - please allow that (even if it has to be via a setting) - I *hate* using a mouse on a computer!

I am using the same FF version I mentioned in the message - I already killed the window as it was stuck for minutes.

With CIYAM anyone can create 100% generated C++ web applications in literally minutes.

OK, a setting it is. But don't complain if you accidentally press it!! especially with password in sessionstorage.

You tech heads on here have really dropped the ball on NXT. One you shouldn't have a thread with this many geeks discussing code to promote a coin.
Two you have all managed to create an environment that seems elitist and condescending. You have made it all seem so complicated for the average user that they eventually thought screw this i'm going to an easy to open platform clone of NXT.

I own a ton of NXT this hurts me personally. What the hell is going on here, this isn't a coding party wise up or recognize you guys need to change or this coin is in the toilet. Well done....

This thread is were the developers are talking difficult stuff, this thread is very important and let us peak inside of de development of Nxt. For the average Joe these forums are more easier to understand: http://www.nextcoin.org and https://forums.nxtcrypto.org. Good luck!  Smiley

Looks okay to me but I am no designer (I hired Enej to redo CIYAM Open for me as my self-designed version looked like shit).

First thought: Checkbox should be flat and white/translucent like the textbox above. Maybe text-align to the left?

 Huh

Personal view I would put the check box at the end of the line of text...
Its more logical to check it after you have read it.
Its then near the arrow if you need to click that too

Less mouse work.

I am pro "the coin that shall not be named". It is an asset that has been created on Nxt Asset Exchange. The market value of nodecoin should be determined by market forces. No  intervention with Nxt funds. Let people trade it. It is really simple. It provides an additional incentive for people to secure the Nxt network. Please stop spreading FUD before we have to hire a full time FUD fighter for this thread.

EDIT: Someone please tell me how the "coin that shall not be named" is fundamentally different from any other coin (national, or private) that may be issued as an asset in the Nxt Asset Exchange?

EDIT EDIT: Here is a great selling point for Nxt : Don't be This guy! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=517976.0

As long as there is no NXT funds invention, we don't use NXT funds to buy those nodecoins, and we let people to trade it out off their own pocket, it is perfect fine. Like being said, everyone can created assets in AE. It is fine as long as we don't use NXT funds to buy them to create a artificial market.

A NXT paywall !!
...
.. Content at the internet is not free & the "mass mortality" of printmedia. In a row this discussion caused the development of paywalls.  Some small and some big newspaper (resp. their online-branch) implented paywalls between the user and their content.
....
2) try to provide our own NXT-driven paywall-client FOR FREE for all the smaller websites and businesses?
... some smaller businesses will use the service and they'll promote automatically NXT to a wider public.
+ 1440 !!

NXT dev committee should focus on this ASAP!
