Hi,
I'm trying to work out when; using a stop-limit sell is preferable to a stop-market sell on Bitmex.
I had a stop-limit sell order with a <0.1% gap between the stop and limit. It was cancelled upon triggering, it listed a few reasons.. one of them was stops too close. ~I think.
How close can you have them? It seems a market order would be preferable even though it comes with a small fee. As - if you need to set your stop/limit gap to more than 0.075% surely you might as well be using a market sell, allowing you to get it at or closer to your desired sell price.?

When you use stop limit order to sell so that mean that order for stop loss,  stop limit order will be work better and faster if the trading volume high.  When the trading volume high,  we can put the same price between stop and limit.

you are right, with a high volume there is a high likelihood of execution at a predetermined price, but if the volume is a little, then the price that is fixed remains low, it can be executed. so basically maybe you have to choose a market with high trading volume is the main key to trading with a stop-limit, and setting a reasonable price so that it can be executed immediately without waiting a long time.
