It was fun reading this article I got more knowledge on posting. I think using those mentioned codes well give a charisma to our post to get merit. Let me try all of this here.

Forget considering colours and fancy formatting features in a post being elements that will help you get merits. They’re not and, if used without measure, they will probably get the opposite effect and get you on people’s ignore list.

Instead of using those features, it’s better to concentrate on content. Try not to post in abundance, but rather put thought in to each and every post you make (ok, you can relax on a few, but that’s it).

The general line should be to draw people’s attention towards your ideas, versed opinions, or facts that you state out, being these potentially interesting to others due to contents, not glowing rainbow formats all over the screen.

It's not different from the regular quote link. I've quoted your statement and your name appears in the quote header.

Good on you for pointing out that the quote feature can be used to link references or sources as a "free text" option.

Now do you see the differences? The 2nd one is useful when a topic has been locked but you need to quote it, also to referencing any URL.
