Hello,

I have been following bitcoins for a while. I am no proponent of the system because it has its flaws (people who keep ignoring it are just ignorant) but I am also no opponent of the system because I believe that everything and everyone deserves a chance, especially if he/she/they/it can contribute to the societal welfare. I am an economist and I mainly specialise (which does not mean that I am a specialist in the field) in regulation. Regulation exists in many forms and doesn't always imply government intervention. Regulation is not always bad (or that is the impression I get from a part of the Bitcoin community, which I again must attribute to ignorance). I have some arguments/ideas which I would like to discuss in private with someone who knows more of the technical side of bitcoins. If you are interested, feel free to pm me.

Kind regards,

Ideas about what? Regulation? I think they beat you to that with all the redlists, coinvalidation, etc...

Go ahead and send me a PM.  I'm curious about what you have to say/ask.

From what I have read (I haven't read everything of course), I didn't find the information I was looking for.
