Haha I'll pay shipping but I can't pay escrow unless it's myself. Otherwise it's about the same as the 14 bid which isn't fair

I'll be the escrow. See my sig. thanks

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

We could use Bitrated. There are no fees associated with Bitrated unless the transaction goes sour.

We could also use BTCrow. Their fee is 1.55%. Just for reference, 14.5 BTC * (1 - .0155) = 14.27525 BTC. That's 0.27525 BTC higher than the 14 BTC bid. I think that should qualify as a higher bid. Also, I think it's likely that the 14 BTC bid wanted to use escrow too, but just didn't deign to mention it.

Or we could use Ninjaboon or John K, but I prefer to deal with machines and algorithms over people for escrow.

By the way, in case I purchase from you and we do the escrow thing: I will videotape from the moment I or my agent signs for the package up through the opening of the box. If I claim the box is empty or contains something other than the stated product, such a claim should be backed by this evidence. I just wanted to go on the record saying that, since I think it addresses one of the nasty scams that can be pulled with escrow services. I think everyone else who uses escrow should do the same when possible.

Bitpop meant "Auction ends December 07, 2013, 03:26:55 AM" Pacific Standard Time. The forum displays timestamps in GMT by default. 16.5 BTC was the highest bid at the close.
