I am buying a miner. I told the seller to send me a screenshot of the cgminer.



The screenshot shows today's date and time.
It looks like its using pool gpumax.com:8332
I tried going to that url and it doesn't work.

Logged  as 4efb961258d54..........


I think this is a fake screenshot he sent me.

The gpumax 'pool' is long gone and dead. Chances are your suspicions are right and that may very well be a faked or stolen screenshot.
